*This is a fully remote position with the ideal candidate residing in the Pacific time zone region (Westcoast/PST)
The 1Password Partner team is focused on developing and expanding partnerships to maximize the growth objectives of 1Password through relationship management, partner enablement, business planning, developing go-to-market strategies, executing demand generation activities, and establishing regional business goals, objectives and success measures with each partner. Partners are a core focus for the future growth of 1Password.
As a Sr Partner Manager, Reseller for 1Password, you will be responsible for generating pipeline by creating opportunities, driving approval/conversion on deal registrations, and executing revenue. You will oversee deals from a channel perspective, driving demand generation and nurturing pipeline growth. Additionally, you will act as the primary liaison with focus partners, facilitating face-to-face visits, as well as.
You will also own the creation and execution of business plans, manage partner headquarters offices, and cultivate partner sellers and executive-level relationships. You will serve as the main interface to aligned sellers, including partners, internal 1Password sales teams, distributors, and alliances, facilitating internal-reseller interactions to advance partnerships and increasing the number of partner sellers and transactions within assigned partners.
This is a complex, senior partnerships role that requires an artful balance of sales, program development and relationship management in order to deliver a set of scalable partner centric, revenue generating partnerships.

What we're looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience in meeting and exceeding quotas
  • 7+ years of experience in partner management and/or business development
  • You have experience working with Distributors and/or Resellers
  • Ability to lead, influence and drive results at all levels
  • Experience in developing long-term strategic partnership growth plans and executing against those plans
  • Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and external resources, conflict resolutions and follow through with partners
  • Possess a network of relationships with partners, potential partners to aid in opportunity identification
  • Experience in Cybersecurity or SaaS industry is a plus

What you can expect:

  • Proactively build partner sales pipeline and achieve quotas for 1Password
  • Cultivate strong relationships with distributors and resellers for 1Password
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on 1Password’s products and services
  • Identify, manage, and close sales opportunities within partner networks for 1Password
  • Provide accurate partner forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annually for 1Password
  • Align 1Password value propositions with partners' priorities to drive sales events/initiatives
  • Collaborate on business plans with partners to achieve sales goals for 1Password
  • Organize and execute partner-focused events within quarterly budget allocations for 1Password
  • Raise awareness and engagement with assigned reseller/distribution account managers for 1Password:
  • Cultivate robust partnerships by actively addressing partner inquiries and concerns
  • Facilitate the assimilation of partners' representatives into the partner program
  • Gain insight into partners' organizations and industries
USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $105,000 USD and $143,000 USD and is commission eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $104,000 CAD and $140,000 CAD and is commission eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
We believe in the power of remote work, but we also recognize that some in-person connection with team members and customers is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel for in-person engagement will be a part of this role. This may include but is not limited to bi-annual department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events will typically be held in varying locations across Canada and the USA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
