The Product Acceleration team is looking for a Product Intern to support the ecosystem initiative for 1Password’s new XAM platform, who is excited about gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced team driven by making an impact. Product Acceleration works on strategic initiatives to identity and develop untapped growth opportunities beyond the immediate scope and roadmap of 1Password. Our mandate is to accelerate the company’s objectives and growth by forging strategic partnerships and acquisitions, and by developing new products and business models.
As a Product Intern on ecosystems, you will be working on a 0 to 1 initiative that fundamentally changes the product story of 1Password. You will complete a combination of work in product discovery and shipping, and business development - helping create programs and engage partners and developers to bootstrap a thriving ecosystem platform. You will gain valuable experience and skills across product strategy, and product/program management.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada. This is a full time (40 hours per week) position that will run for 4 months - September to December 2024.
What you can expect:
- Perform research on new markets, trends and categories within cyber security
- Engage strategic partners and build programs to bootstrap our ecosystem network
- Assist in gathering new evidence of problems and solutions among customers & partners
- Dig into data to deliver and measure impact of existing and new initiatives
- Directly source and work with new strategic partners and make business cases
- Work closely with counterparts across product, design, marketing and engineering to deliver on projects

- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of data analysis and research techniques
- Knowledge of enterprise software marketplaces and ecosystems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to distill complex topics for different audiences
- A keen interest in working externally with partners and customers to drive value
- Technical knowledge of software development processes
- Personal experience using 1Password (or other password managers)
