Role Overview
The VP of Engineering will lead our platform engineering, worldwide cloud infrastructure, product integrations, SRE operations, and developer productivity functions as we enter a pivotal phase of growth and transformation. This role will own the technical foundations that power our product ecosystem while shaping engineering culture, operational excellence, and strategic direction to scale effectively.
This leader will influence platform architecture, drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure the platform can reliably deliver innovative, high-impact solutions. This role may also serve as the India country leader—helping unite employees, foster collaboration, and strengthen organizational alignment.
Responsibilities
• Lead global teams across platform engineering, infrastructure, integrations, cloud operations, SRE, and developer productivity.
• Define and execute long-term cloud and infrastructure strategy focused on availability, performance,security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee AWS cloud infrastructure, reliability, incident response, and cost optimization.
• Build and scale high-performing engineering organizations with strong leadership and technical rigor.
• Improve developer velocity through tooling, automation, and internal platforms.
• Strengthen operational excellence with mature on-call and continuous improvement processes.
• Drive change leadership during organizational scaling and transformation.
• Partner with Product, Security, and Engineering teams to align technical priorities.
• Mentor distributed engineering teams and strengthen leadership capability.
• Promote adoption of new technologies and engineering best practices.
• Recruit and retain senior leadership talent; foster inclusive culture.Skills & Experience
• 15+ years of engineering experience, including 7+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience leading distributed engineering teams in SaaS or cloud-native companies.
• Deep expertise in AWS, distributed systems, cloud ops, and DevOps/SRE.
• Successful track record scaling engineering orgs during high-growth phases.
• Strong understanding of integrations, platforms, service reliability, and dev tooling.
• Ability to improve engineering velocity through tooling and process modernization.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational influence.
• Experience guiding technology strategy at executive and board levels.
• Ability to develop senior engineering leaders and build healthy team culture.
• Strong business acumen with long-range strategic thinking.
