About the Total Rewards Delivery Team
The Total Rewards Delivery Team is the operational engine behind Salesforce’s Total Rewards strategy. The team is responsible for the seamless execution of compensation, benefits, and well-being programs that attract, retain, and support our talent. This group ensures all Total Rewards programs are delivered with accuracy, compliance, efficiency, and a strong focus on employee care.

About the Benefits Delivery Team
The Benefits Delivery Team ensures employees receive their benefits efficiently and effectively. This team manages and administers a wide range of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and additional perks.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits Enrollment

  • Lead project oversight for annual Open Enrollment, including planning, stakeholder management, employee communications, and system testing.

  • Serve as a primary contact for project escalations, providing timely guidance and issue resolution.

Consultancy & Process Improvement

  • Ensure benefits systems are fully operational, updated, and user-friendly.

  • Provide timely support for system issues and employee inquiries.

  • Use data analytics and metrics to identify opportunities for process streamlining and automation.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and other relevant regulations.

  • Maintain robust compliance controls to support audits and regulatory requests.

  • Support audits and reporting needs related to benefits administration.

  • Manage required filings (e.g., 1095-C, Gag Clause, HIRD) and documentation updates.

  • Liaise with benefits vendors to ensure service delivery, contractual compliance, and strong operational performance.

Employee Experience & PS&O (People Services Operations) Subject Matter Expert

  • Partner with PSO to ensure timely and accurate processing of benefits transactions.

  • Serve as the SME for complex benefits inquiries and escalations, providing clear guidance and resolution paths.

  • Deliver regular training sessions for PSO team members on benefit plans, systems, and compliance requirements.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, supporting automation, and scaling operations.

  • Ensure seamless handoffs between Total Rewards and PSO to support a high-quality employee experience.

  • Oversee COBRA notification and election processes in partnership with third-party administrators.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training

  • Develop and implement cross-training programs to build coverage and capability across Delivery team functions.

  • Partner with cross-functional groups (BT, Legal, Finance) to streamline workflows and ensure alignment.

  • Support change management and transition training efforts for HR partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Assess training needs, identify knowledge gaps, and support skill development.

  • Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, e-learning content, presentations, and SOPs.

Benefits Delivery Projects

  • Support initiatives to enhance benefits delivery operations.

  • Assist in developing tools, documentation, and templates to enable scalable execution.

  • Represent Benefits Delivery in cross-functional working groups focused on vendor optimization, data integrity, and employee experience.

Global Benefits Reimbursement Program — Delivery & Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Global Benefits Reimbursement program.

  • Project manage the launch of new global benefit programs and policy updates, ensuring end-to-end implementation, testing, and validation.

  • Collaborate with Global Benefits Design & Strategy to translate business requirements into impactful program updates.

  • Partner with vendors to implement enhancements and ensure delivery across regions in collaboration with PSO, BT, Payroll, and other teams.

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics; lead quarterly business reviews to assess trends and program effectiveness.

  • Improve and update internal documentation, FAQs, and employee-facing content (including translations).

  • Streamline support workflows and escalation paths.

  • Support special projects that translate benefits strategy into impactful employee experience improvements.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of benefits program management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of benefits experience

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws affecting employee benefit plans

  • Demonstrated ability to lead major initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong program or project management skills with a strategic mindset

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with senior leaders

  • Working knowledge of Workday HR systems preferred
