About Us:
Join our team as a Commerce Cloud Success Architect and be a pivotal player in driving success for our customers within the Commerce Cloud product portfolio. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you'll contribute to the growth and reputation of Salesforce as a leader in the industry. We are seeking a passionate B2B Commerce Architect with significant experience in delivering B2B Commerce Cloud solutions to large enterprise organizations.
Responsibilities:
As a Commerce Cloud Success Architect, you will:
Customer Engagement: Engage with our Signature Success Plan customers through a high-velocity advisory model across multiple concurrent engagements. You'll provide strategic consultation and recommendations, for customers to implement independently, across technical architecture, DevOps, performance, and solution design specific to B2B Commerce (including Cloudcraze).
Lead with Expertise: Serve as a trusted Commerce Cloud SME for our broader Cloud Success organization, providing proactive and reactive Architecture, Solution Strategy, Thought Leadership, and Product expertise.
Communication Mastery: Translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, ranging from Technical and Business stakeholders to Executive Leadership, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor in crucial conversations.
Innovation and Problem Solving: Identify and evaluate capability gaps, recommending standard product enhancements or creative custom solutions to maximize customer success and adoption.
Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with both internal and external business partners, collaborating on initiatives that contribute to broader goals and growth.

Your Experience:
Proven Experience: 7+ years proven experience in Enterprise consulting, including implementing Enterprise software solutions in the Commerce space as a Lead Developer or Architect

Commerce Cloud Expertise:
Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce and Cloudcraze
Deep understanding of data modeling, integration architectures, and data governance best practices.
Very good understanding of B2B Commerce development tools (APEX, Visualforce, LWC, Lightning Platform, APIs, Standard and Custom Objects)
Experience with System Architecture design and Integration Patterns
Experience optimizing B2B Commerce solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability across complex enterprise environments
Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer

Excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams from Developer over Merchant to Executive
Customer-centric discovery - ability to ask questions and challenge assumptions with empathy to identify the real problem to solve
Comfortable engaging directly with customers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, demo features, and provide architectural guidance.
Proactive mindset: Proactive and self-starting attitude with the ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating remotely with customers and colleagues
Data Ethics and Privacy: Values the importance of Data Ethics and Privacy by ensuring that customer solutions adhere to relevant regulations and best practices in data security and privacy
Preferred Experience:
Platform Experience: Salesforce Order Management, Experience implementing Salesforce Clouds, Multi-cloud scenarios - Sales, Service, Industries, Marketing or Commerce

Modern Commerce Specializations: Deep architectural knowledge in critical commerce domains, including:
Payments: Experience designing and advising on solutions utilizing Salesforce Payments, payment gateway integrations, tokenization, subscription billing, and complex reconciliation/settlement processes.
B2B Marketplace: Track record of architecting solutions for B2B Marketplace models, focusing on multi-vendor management, complex catalog synchronization.
AgentForce / Assisted Commerce: Expertise in leveraging Agentforce for Commerce capabilities to enable assisted sales, agent-managed account relationships, and comprehensive customer self-service portals.
Multi-Cloud Integration: Experience implementing complex multi-cloud scenarios connecting B2B Commerce with other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales, Service, Industries) to deliver a unified customer experience.
Salesforce Certifications: Active Salesforce certifications such as B2B Solution Architect are highly desirable.
Technical Acumen: Familiarity with modern enterprise technologies and trends, including AI/ML concepts, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and Data Lakes. Ability to understand and incorporate these technologies into broader architecture strategies.
Global Collaboration: Experience working with geographically distributed teams and global enterprise customers. Comfortable collaborating across time zones and cultures to drive alignment and deliver solutions.
