Description
The Corporate Counsel, Alliances will support Salesforce’s Global Partnerships, AppExchange, and Alliances and Channels organizations by structuring, drafting and negotiating programmatic and strategic partner agreements. The individual will be high-performing, results-driven, and collaborative with a focus on strategic and creative thinking. The individual will deliver under tight deadlines while working closely with a wide array of cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Contract Execution at Speed: Lead, review, draft, and negotiate Salesforce partner agreements, including distribution, resale, strategic alliance and go-to-market agreements, under a fast turnaround time with intentional business collaboration.
Strategic Leadership & Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the business (Global Partnerships account managers, revenue recognition, partner operations and others) to support the growth of the partnerships business through new programs, smart contracting and scaled processes.
Lead & Deliver Rapidly: Provide expeditious, business-savvy legal advice to support on-going partnership efforts while effectively managing legal risk and ensuring compliance across partner programs.
Process Efficiency & Innovation: Identify and implement legal process improvements to support rapid deal closure and creation of new partner programs. Assist in developing training materials and provide training to the business on relevant legal topics and best practices.
Integration Of Partner Programs: Provide guidance and oversight to the M&A and Corp Dev teams to integrate or wind-down partners of Salesforce acquisitions into Salesforce programs.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Undergraduate degree and law degree from accredited schools
Admission to the bar in one or more states
Minimum 5 years of legal experience, with strong focus on commercial contracting
Strong negotiation and drafting skills, particularly in technology transactions.
Strong organizational or project management skills.
Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and demanding industry.
Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
Proven track record ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with demanding internal clients.
Familiar with and interested in technical concepts.
Highly adaptable and service-oriented attitude. Ability to handle pressure and provide thoughtful recommendations.
