About the team

The Salesforce Global Brand & Creative team within Marketing is responsible for our brand and marketing creative. From building brand awareness campaigns to designing experiences like Dreamforce, our multifaceted team does it all. We are a collection of creative visionaries, craftspeople, storytellers, strategists, producers, and more, whose sole purpose is to bring the brand to life across our incredible portfolio of work. Our new Mexico City Design Production Studio will help us continue to scale our team globally.

About the role

The Art Director on the design production studio team at Salesforce is responsible for leading the development and execution of creative projects across a wide range of platforms and channels that originate from our internal marketing partners. We are looking for an Art Director that will work on both internal and external campaigns, developing compelling creative for customer engagement, demand-gen campaigns, events, brand initiatives, and internal communications.

This role involves conceptualizing, designing, and executing brand and marketing projects, collaborating with cross-functional global teams, and ensuring brand consistency.

This unique role will work closely with the creative team in Salesforce HQ for guidance and creative oversight while collaborating with the local team in Mexico City for design and production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development and execution of creative concepts for a wide range of traditional and non-traditional brand creative including events, campaigns, digital, print and video.

  • Working with marketing, creative, production, and strategy to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging.

  • Leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies, including AI, to optimize workflows and enhance storytelling.

  • Owning / overseeing multiple campaigns and projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained from kick-off to approval by leadership.

  • Working close to designers to develop original, breakthrough creative and design that serve a global audience.

  • Experienced developing and presenting / discussing creative and the narrative / strategy behind the work with a group of creatives and leadership. Comfortable offering and receiving creative feedback in a constructive and open way.

  • Strong ability to develop work with a keen eye for details big, medium and small. Able to keep track of complex notes and feedback and ensure efficient and accurate progress.

  • Ensuring messaging aligns with Salesforce's brand strategy and voice across all platforms.

  • Providing innovative solutions to meet campaign objectives and deliver on-strategy and breakthrough results.

  • Overseeing multiple projects and ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance content creation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of professional design experience, ideally in-house for a global brand.

  • Experience in video and content creation.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design, storytelling, motion design, and animation.

  • Expert in design software: Figma and Adobe After Effects. Strong handle of Google suite.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency with AI-powered tools and strategies for creative development, content creation and optimization.

Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, volunteer work, etc.).
