We are hiring for the position of Product Manager, Tax! We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Product Manager to lead the development and execution of global tax technology solutions. This role is critical in shaping the product roadmap and delivering impactful solutions that support tax operations at scale. You will partner closely with engineering, design, finance, and compliance teams to build and optimize tax products and integrations with ERP systems such as Vertex and Workday (or similar platforms).
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of deep product management expertise, a strong foundation in data analysis and visualization, and a solid understanding of global tax regulations and compliance processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the product lifecycle from discovery through delivery and iteration for tax-related product features and integrations.

  • Can identify business themes and trends and can influence priorities and approach at roadmap levelDevelop and maintain a strategic product roadmap aligned with business goals and regulatory changes across global markets.

  • Conduct product discovery through stakeholder interviews, data insights, and customer feedback to inform decision-making.

  • Translate complex tax and ERP requirements into clear, prioritized product features and user stories.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, tax SMEs, finance, and compliance teams to drive execution.

  • Analyze and visualize product and user data to inform feature prioritization and measure success.

  • Serve as a domain expert in global tax processes and technology platforms, especially Vertex, Workday, or equivalent ERP systems.

  • Stay current with evolving global tax regulations and assess their impact on product strategy.


Experience/Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally in finance or tax tech domains.

  • Hands-on experience with roadmapping, product discovery, and prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW, etc.).

  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills; proficiency with tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

  • Demonstrated understanding of global tax compliance processes and tax technology ecosystems.

  • Deep familiarity with Vertex, Workday, or similar ERP and tax platforms.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Excellent spoken and written communication and receptive listening skills, with ability to present sophisticated ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Excellent teammate able to collaborate with virtual and global cross functional teams

  • Excellent influencing skills


Experience/Skills Desired:
Experience working with multi-national organizations or in a globally distributed product environment
Experience with Agile/SCRUM techniques
Excellent, creative problem-solving skills
Solid understanding in information technology architecture components, procedures and practices
