About the Role

We are seeking an innovative UX Architect to collaboratively lead the definition of the future of the Agentic Enterprise. As the architect for the MuleSoft UX team, you will sit at the convergence of integration, and Artificial Intelligence. You will be the strategic design partner shaping our most ambitious initiatives across the MuleSoft Anypoint and Salesforce Platforms - partnering with teams across the organization.

This is an incredible opportunity to shape the MuleSoft Developer and DevOps experience by influencing what and how we build transformational product experiences that span Anypoint Platform, Salesforce Core, and IDEs. As a talented and seasoned Architect, you will know our users deeply and set a comprehensive strategy that drives their success. You will explore ambitious ideas through prototypes and collaborate with strong Product Management and Engineering leaders to set the strategic course for a large, growing business as it shifts to embrace the AI-driven future.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • User-Centric Innovation: Leverage a robust understanding of user needs, product strategy, and market trends to bring forward user-centric innovation opportunities.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Collaborate with the most seasoned design, engineering, and product partners - including our GM - to drive vision and strategy via design.
  • Impact at Scale: Develop robust and innovative practices, frameworks, principles, and processes that scale your impact across the Salesforce ecosystem and elevate the impact of other designers and teams.
  • Craft Elevation: Elevate the craft of the design organization. Mentor and coach a talented team of designers while advocating for user-centered, inclusive design practices. Attract and assess top talent.

What You Should Have

  • 10+ years of experience leading in an individual contributor role on a product design team.

  • Architectural Thinking: Demonstrated ability to break down complex ecosystems and communicate them in an understandable manner. You can define object models, navigation structures, and interaction patterns for large-scale platforms.
  • Impact in Ambiguity: Demonstrated ability to thrive in the most ambiguous of situations by creating clarity and alignment and seeing and seizing new opportunities.
  • AI/LLM Fluency: Foundational understanding of the concepts behind Generative and Agentic AI and the ability to leverage it in your daily work for increased efficacy and efficiency.
  • Raising the Bar: A strong track record of mentoring and guiding designers and design teams to larger impact
  • Mastery of Influence: Excellent storytelling skills. You can command a room of engineers and executives, using design artifacts to build consensus and drive strategic decisions.
