We’re looking for a strategic and high-performing Commercial Account Executive to join our Financial Services team. In this role, you will sell the full Salesforce Customer 360 platform into accounts across the Banking, Insurance, and Wealth & Asset Management sectors. You’ll partner with some of Australia’s most established financial institutions, driving long-term transformation and delivering meaningful business outcomes.

As a trusted adviser, you will engage senior stakeholders across the C-Suite, build deep customer relationships, and lead sophisticated deal cycles from first conversation through to close. You’ll combine your industry expertise, commercial acumen, and strong new-business skills to generate pipeline, unlock growth, and position Salesforce as the strategic partner of choice.

Day to Day

No day looks the same. In this role, you will:

  • Sell Salesforce Customer 360 into a defined portfolio of Commercial FSI accounts (200–2000 FTE).

  • Build strong relationships with existing customers to uncover new opportunities across Banking, Insurance, and Wealth & Asset Management.

  • Drive net-new acquisition by landing new logos and expanding Salesforce’s influence across the FSI landscape.

  • Own end-to-end deal management: forecasting, prospecting, territory planning, running complex sales cycles, presenting solutions, and negotiating commercial terms.

  • Represent Salesforce at industry events, executive roundtables, and customer briefings.

  • Partner closely with internal teams to bring the right specialists into deals at the right time.

  • Use your solution-selling expertise to understand FSI-specific challenges (compliance, customer engagement, digital transformation, risk & operational efficiency) and position Salesforce technology to solve them.

  • Maintain a consistent customer cadence to build high-value, long-standing relationships.

  • Conduct FSI territory and account planning to build a targeted, data-driven go-to-market strategy.

  • You are the CEO of your territory. You have autonomy in how you structure your day, and you will be measured on outcomes — not time spent at a desk.

Who You Are

This is an ideal role for a tenured Account Executive with experience in Financial Services or a strong interest in breaking into the FSI vertical. You will bring:

  • A track record of quota-carrying success and experience running full sales cycles.

  • Exposure to senior stakeholders (VP, C-Suite) and the confidence to influence at this level.

  • Strong new-business development capability, you’re proactive, disciplined, and pipeline-driven.

  • A growth mindset and genuine passion for the Financial Services Industry.

  • High EQ, resilience, and the ability to navigate a diverse, fast-paced environment.

  • The ability to craft a compelling point of view and build trust as a strategic adviser.

  • Curiosity, self-awareness, and clarity on your own motivations.

  • Prior experience with modern sales methodologies and CRM platforms is advantageous
