We’re seeking an outstanding Lead Product Designer to help craft the future of our industry-leading Field Service suite. Designers serve a vital role here: from ideation and collaboration on defining our roadmap, via creating the experience of new features, to the craft and finish of every detail in the product. We appreciate designers who are passionate about making customers and their teams successful.

What you'll be doing

  • Work closely with product owners, engineers, and user research to create a vision for the Field Service product area, articulate it clearly and convincingly, and guide the team through its implementation

  • Using documentation, reviews, and presentations, communicate clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of key partners and leadership

  • Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering partners to represent the design team, facilitate design discussions, and give feedback in planning and product channels.

  • Partner with engineering to ensure that our implementation and user experience are of high-quality, delivering a polished final product

  • Solicit feedback from your peers, including other product designers and teammates in your product team.

  • Serve as a bridge connecting design, product, engineering, and marketing teams

  • Creates ethical and inclusive designs for all users. Advocates for ethical & humane use of AI technologies, encouraging product and engineering management to prioritize inclusive features and bug fixes

What you should have

  • 5-7 years of experience in an individual contributor role, on a Product Design team for desktop or mobile

  • An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a foundation in Typography, Interaction, Visual Design and Ideation

  • A robust, autonomous work ethic complemented by an ability to harmonize with and elevate team dynamics.

  • Systems thinking; ability to step back and see a project’s larger ecosystem, with a focus on solutions that improve not just one feature but the entire user flow

  • Ability to distill and reframe problems, then define a framework for resolution, generating clear, sophisticated solutions for complex challenges

  • An understanding of dependencies between design, front-end and backend technologies and experience using a design system

  • Outstanding storytelling skills to present your solutions to key partners and leadership

  • Experience supporting multiple projects successfully and balancing the needs of different work stream

  • Experience in working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment

  • Experience with prototyping as a means to explore and convey design solutions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Proven expertise in making user experiences that are not only intuitive but also accessible, adhering to WCAG and other industry standards.

  • Proven record of advocating for and implementing inclusive design practices, ensuring that products are usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
