ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of solution selling at the most innovative software company. The Solution Engineer, Public Sector Intern is responsible for gaining a strong understanding of the Slack & Salesforce platform in order to help our customers leverage technology to solve their most important business challenges. To accomplish this, the Solution Engineer must be excited to learn at a rapid pace and combine their technical expertise, business acumen, and creativity to add value to the Solution Engineering team.

YOUR IMPACT (RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Meet and interview individuals from Solution Engineering and supporting departments to understand how the organization is structured and works together
  • Complete product training certifications
  • Create and present customized demo components
  • Assist in customer-facing sales cycles
  • Create public facing content

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • A current rising Junior/rising senior graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a preferred concentration in Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent. Minor in technical subject considered as well.
  • A strong business and technical background
  • Strong communication, networking, presenting skills
  • Preferred prior working experience (can include part time or over school breaks)
  • Adaptable to change and enjoys learning in a fast paced environment
  • Long term interest in Solution Engineering role
