About the role:
The Sales Strategy and Operations team is a high-performance team chartered with assisting senior executives in driving the business forward. The team is responsible for (i) Partnering with senior sales leadership to drive and track the business under a rigorous data-driven approach, interpreting KPIs and providing executive recommendations ; (ii) Owning the business operational model and cadence, (iii) Planning for our future growth including both G4G and longer term cross functional strategic initiatives
In this role, you will be leading a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts supporting Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Our Sales Strategy Analyst will play a critical role in the success of the team and become the key pool of talent to nurture, grow and develop into more senior roles within the organization.
As a people manager, your preliminary responsibilities include:
Strategic Partnership & Advisory
- Support our business units with ongoing data analysis and recommendations to structure and solve complex business problems.
- Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives and inform decisions on a daily basis.
- Drive improvements in our sales process and coverage model through scalable analytics.
Planning for Future Growth
- Drive "Go-for-Growth" (G4G) initiatives and long-term cross-functional strategic projects.
- Optimize territory planning and quota allocation to ensure equitable and aggressive growth across SEMEA.
People Management & Talent Incubation
- Coaching & Mentorship: Conduct weekly 1:1s focused not just on "the what" (tasks) but "the how" (professional growth). You will be responsible for helping your team navigate the Salesforce matrix.
- V2MOM Alignment: Own the creation of your team’s V2MOM (Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles, and Measures), ensuring every Analyst understands how their work maps to the company’s global goals.
- Career Pathing: Actively identify "stretch projects" for Senior Analysts to prepare them for promotion, ensuring a healthy internal talent pipeline.
- Performance Excellence: Foster a culture of psychological safety where team members feel empowered to experiment with new data models and challenge the status quo.
Minimum desired qualifications:
- Experience: 4–8 years of experience in Sales Operations, Management Consulting, or Corporate Finance, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
- Structured Problem Solving: A proven ability to deconstruct complex business challenges into data-driven workstreams. You don't just find the "what"—you explain the "so what" and the "now what."
- Executive Presence & Communication: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives. You can pivot your message seamlessly whether you are speaking to a frontline Seller or a C-suite Executive.
- Collaborative Leadership: A "Team-First" mentality. You excel at building cross-functional bridges (with Finance, Marketing, and Sales) to drive alignment and "win as one."
- Operational Agility: Highly organized and comfortable balancing high-stakes deadlines with long-term strategic projects. You thrive in fast-paced, "ambiguity-is-the-norm" environments.
- People Growth Mindset: A passion for mentorship. You are energized by the prospect of coaching Analysts and helping them navigate their career paths within Salesforce.
- Language & Global Perspective: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Spanish or Italian is highly preferred to effectively support our SEMEA stakeholders.
