POSITION TITLE: Summer 2026 Intern - Sales Programs, Public Sector

LOCATION OPTION(S): New York office

Salesforce is looking for a Sales Programs Intern to support our Intelligent Selling team aligned to the Salesforce Sales Programs Public Sector Team. The role will report into the Senior Manager of Sales Programs and the scope of coverage is our Global Public Sector Business.

The Sales Programs Team is a fast paced, high impact team charged to define and deliver significant change to sales and marketing alignment along with structured demand generation efforts. Sales Programs is an important role within the Sales organization and incorporates a mix of Demand Generation planning/coordination/execution based on Pipeline trending analysis and participation.

The candidate must also have the flexibility to identify and execute on multiple priorities, work effectively with stakeholders, be a team player, and navigate ambiguity.

This internship is in the office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support programs that impact pipeline generation, AE Productivity, and up-skilling.
  • Simplify and enable intelligent selling programs at global scale.
  • Public Sector copy and content curation for activation through sales plays.
  • Responsible for copy writing social post and internal communications.
  • Creating, developing and communicating abstract, concrete or visual ideas.
  • Manage internal tools to support adoption of digital programs.
  • Activities also include: coordination of all contributors to sales program activities; reporting on results and successes, assessing effectiveness, recommending areas of improvement.

Desired experience:

  • Current Junior/rising Senior (Spring 2026 grad) pursuing a Bachelor's degree; Business, Economics or STEM backgrounds are a plus but not required
  • Interest in marketing or sales.
  • Proactive, creative and innovative thinker.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Process oriented with experience in supporting programs from idea to execution.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency.
  • Salesforce.com experience an advantage.
