The Manager, Strategy & Programs (Customer Zero & Alliance Opps) is responsible for driving the company-wide "Customer Zero" initiative, where Salesforce becomes its own best customer, creating customer value and achieving business growth through internal product adoption. Managing a team of 5 members as part of the Sales Strategy & Programs organization, this role leads organizational productivity improvements and innovation through sales strategy execution, Alliance Opps advancement, and internal deployment of Salesforce products.

This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders across departments to design and execute programs that promote product feature adoption. Additionally, the role involves leveraging insights gained from Customer Zero initiatives in sales activities and customer proposals to maximize the value of Salesforce solutions.

A successful candidate will need to possess:

* Team management experience or coaching skills to support member growth

* Foundational knowledge of Salesforce products and IT domain, with a commitment to continuous learning

* Ability to build hypotheses, analyze, and make actionable recommendations

* Ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and drive cross-organizational programs

* Execution capability to create value through internal product adoption, understanding the Customer Zero philosophy

* Balance of strategic thinking and practical execution skills

* Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

What you'll be doing:

* Managing, developing, and overseeing performance of 5 team members

* Developing and driving company-wide Customer Zero strategy and execution

* Designing and implementing product feature adoption programs across departments

* Strategic planning and execution management for Alliance Opps

* Strengthening collaboration with stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, IT, Product teams, etc.)

* Analyzing insights from Customer Zero initiatives and applying them to sales activities

* Providing recommendations and decision support to Japan and global leadership

* Measuring program outcomes, analyzing performance, and proposing continuous improvements

* Sharing best practices and managing knowledge within the team

Who you are:

* 5+ years of business experience

* Basic understanding and knowledge of Salesforce products or SaaS products

* Foundational knowledge of IT technologies and eagerness to learn new technologies and products

* Practical experience in program management or project management

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

* Presentation experience to executives and senior management

* Cross-organizational stakeholder management capabilities and relationship-building skills

* Excellent time management skills and ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously

* Sales, marketing, or strategy department experience is a plus

* Ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment

* Leadership and teamwork skills to effectively lead cross-functional collaboration

* Business-level Japanese proficiency (required)

* English communication skills are a plus
