Description

Overview of the Role

The Salesforce Certification team is seeking a strategic, operationally-minded Global Certification Content and Strategy Manager to drive the global scalability and technical integrity of our high-stakes certification portfolio. This role serves as the critical engine behind our localization lifecycle, ensuring that as our product ecosystem evolves, our global exams remain synchronized, technically accurate, and impactful for our international partner and trailblazer communities.

This is not a localization role; it is a portfolio strategy and execution position.

You will serve as the central architect for a complex, multi-language content engine, managing high-volume localization lifecycles and a global network of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who ensure technical accuracy of localized content. Beyond operational delivery, you will provide critical strategic value by assessing the impact of New Product Introductions (NPI) on the exam development roadmap, ensuring the certification roadmap remains proactively aligned with Salesforce’s evolving product ecosystem. The ideal candidate thrives in managing complexity at scale, possesses the diplomatic skills to align international stakeholders, and has a passion for protecting the value of Salesforce certifications.

Responsibilities

SME Engagement Program Management

  • Lead the end-to-end management of the global SME pipeline, including recruiting, screening, qualifying, and onboarding high-caliber Salesforce professionals.

  • Ensure technical accuracy in-region by managing the technical validation of localized items, NDA compliance, and participation tracking.

  • Own and evolve the SME Rewards program to maintain a highly engaged, incentivized global community of technical contributors.

Strategic Synchronization & Localization Operations

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all exam localization initiatives. Liasie with the Japan team on localization plans. Ensure localized versions of exams remain in synch with English source material.

  • Execute on a rigorous 90-day exam republication cycle for a portfolio of approximately 75 exams to meet legal compliance requirements.

  • Continuously innovate localization workflows to reduce time-to-market while improving quality consistency across all regions.

  • Advise English-language content creators on "localization-friendly" item development to reduce downstream costs and minimize emergency technical fixes.

Portfolio Strategy & NPI Integration

  • Working with SMEs, assess the impact of New Product Introductions (NPI) on the certification exam portfolio to ensure the certification roadmap aligns with the Salesforce product ecosystem.

  • Contribute to the evolution of the exam development request intake process and prioritization.

  • Analyze localized exam item integrity and quality by tracking localized CSAT and performance data to identify and resolve linguistic or technical issues before they impact candidate success.

Project Management & Program Operations

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ROI metrics, and program health standards for localized versions of exams.

  • Manage complex timelines, resource forecasting, and market prioritization analysis for all certification localization projects.

  • Provide regular updates and performance readouts to leadership, summarizing progress, impact, and "program health stories."

  • Use data to measure program effectiveness and refine localization strategies over time.

Required Skills

  • Program Management / Operations Experience: Proven experience managing high-volume operational tasks or complex content lifecycles within strict SLAs.

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence and liasie across international teams and diverse technical SME networks.

  • Data Fluency: Competency in analyzing performance data, customer satisfaction data, and psychometric trends to proactively identify problems and drive program improvements.

  • Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to bridge gaps between English source content and feedback from localization SMEs.

Education / Experience

  • Professional Experience: Must have 5+ years experience within program management or content development management. 4+ years certification exam program experience preferred.

  • Education: BA or BS in Education, English, Psychology, Business Management, or equivalent work experience.

  • Salesforce Knowledge: Internal understanding of Salesforce’s product ecosystem and certification processes is highly preferred.
