Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Senior Technical Architect with a deep specialization in the Retail and Consumer Goods (RCG) sector and mastery of the Salesforce ecosystem.
In this role, you won't just be designing systems; you will be a Trusted Advisor, guiding our premier RCG clients through complex digital transformations. You will bridge the gap between ambitious business goals and robust technical execution, maintaining a "Full Stack Mindset" that covers everything from high-level discovery to hands-on deployment.
Core Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership: Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of complex, multi-cloud Salesforce solutions specifically tailored for RCG challenges (e.g., Trade Promotion Management, Consumer Goods Cloud, Omni-channel commerce).
Trusted Advisory: Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders. Proactively suggest best practices based on the "latest and greatest" Salesforce releases (including Data Cloud and Einstein AI).
Cross-Cloud Innovation: While rooted in Salesforce, you will explore and integrate solutions across other Industry Clouds and third-party ecosystems to ensure the business receives the most efficient solution.
Discovery to Go-Live: Own the technical and functional scope throughout the project lifecycle. This includes leading discovery workshops, defining requirements, and ensuring a smooth transition to Go-Live.
Team Orchestration: Provide technical governance and mentorship to large, diverse teams of developers and testers, ensuring code quality and architectural integrity.
Hands-on Excellence: While your focus is strategic, you are willing and able to "get into the weeds" to solve high-complexity technical hurdles or build Proof of Concepts (PoCs) when required.
Required Skills & Experience
Domain & Technical Expertise
RCG Specialist: Extensive experience navigating the Retail and Consumer Goods landscape, including deep knowledge of B2B/B2C trends and supply chain touchpoints.
Salesforce Mastery: Proven track record in Salesforce architecture, with a focus on Consumer Goods Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Complex Engagements: Experience leading at least 3+ large-scale, complex Salesforce implementations for global RCG brands.
Full-Stack Mindset: Comfort working across the entire stack—from UI/UX considerations and Apex/LWC development to complex integrations and data architecture.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Domain & Industry Expertise
12+ years in IT with at least 5+ years specifically in the Retail/Consumer Goods domain.
Proven track record of delivering at least 2–3 large-scale, complex engagements for global RCG brands.
Deep understanding of RCG-specific flows: Route-to-market, Retail Execution, Trade Promotion Management (TPM), Scheme Management and B2B/B2C Commerce.
Technical Prowess
Salesforce Mastery: Extensive experience with Apex, LWC, Integrations (REST/SOAP/Middleware), and Salesforce Shield.
Architecture Frameworks: Strong knowledge of TOGAF or similar frameworks; expertise in designing for high-volume data and complex security models.
Certifications: Application/System Architect certifications and at least 6 domain badges. Agentforce certification is highly preferred
Leadership & Soft Skills
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to manage expectations and influence decision-making among diverse stakeholder groups.
Agility: Willing to explore non-traditional Salesforce solutions or external integrations to find the right fit for the business.
