Description
- Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a Technical/Solution Architect on Salesforce Marketing Cloud projects, delivering end-to-end solutions that meet client requirements.
- Lead discovery sessions and design workshops to capture client needs and translate them into technical designs.
- Implement solutions across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Marketing Cloud Advanced, Marketing Cloud Personalization/Salesforce Personalization, Data Cloud, Loyalty Management and Intelligence
- Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with external systems and platforms using APIs, custom scripts (e.g., AMPscript, SSJS), and tools like MuleSoft or custom ETL solutions ( Optional for Solution Architect )
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Governance and Best Practices – Establish best practices, guidelines, and compliance requirements for implementation.
- Client Engagement:
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions aligned with client expectations.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further engagement.
- Technical Expertise:
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including implementation, configuration, and custom development.
- Strong knowledge of Marketing Cloud tools such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Cloud and/or Personalization
- Ability to perform technical debt assessments and optimize high-volume SQL queries and SSJS scripts to ensure platform stability and prevent 'Governor Limit' breaches.
- Experience with scripting languages (AMPscript, SSJS) and integrating Marketing Cloud with other systems via APIs. ( Optional for Solution Architect )

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with both internal teams and external clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and industry best practices.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Admin, Marketing Cloud Consultant,Marketing Cloud Personalization...).
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
