Description
As a Senior Solution Engineer (m/f/d) at Salesforce, you will play a critical role at the intersection of business, technology, and sales, helping customers reimagine their Customer 360 strategy.
You will partner with organizations across Technology (Software & Hardware) and Professional Services to design and deliver innovative solutions leveraging the full power of the Salesforce platform, including Data Cloud, AI, and next-generation Agentic AI capabilities.
This role goes beyond traditional CRM—it’s about enabling customers to unlock value through data-driven architectures, intelligent automation, and AI-powered customer engagement.
You will work across both existing customers and new logos, driving strategic conversations from early discovery through to solution design and deal closure.
Your Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory & Discovery
Lead discovery workshops to uncover business challenges and transformation opportunities
Advise business and IT stakeholders on modern CRM, data, and AI architectures
Translate customer needs into compelling Salesforce solution visions
Solution Engineering & Pre-Sales Execution
Design and present end-to-end solutions across the Salesforce ecosystem
Develop solution architectures leveraging products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and AI capabilities
Deliver engaging product demos, storytelling, and value-driven presentations
Partner closely with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Partners
Growth & Customer Expansion
Support new customer acquisition (new logos) with a strong hunting mindset
Identify and drive expansion opportunities within existing accounts
Build long-term trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders
Innovation & AI Leadership
Position AI and Agentic AI as core enablers of business transformation
Translate emerging trends into practical, high-impact use cases
Contribute to thought leadership within the team and customer engagements
Your Profile
Experience
Proven experience as a Solution Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, Solution Architect, or Technical Consultant
Background in CRM, SaaS, or cloud platforms (Salesforce experience strongly preferred)
Alternatively: experience with a Salesforce implementation partner or consulting firm
Track record of supporting complex, customer-facing projects or sales cycles
Technical & Architectural Understanding
Strong understanding of:
CRM platforms and enterprise architectures
Data integration and data platforms
AI-driven applications and automation
Ability to bridge technical and business conversations effectively
Mindset & Soft Skills
Strong customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business value
