About the Team
The DET Sales and Renewals team is looking for an experienced, savvy, Product Manager to work on critical Renewals Enhancements and Salesforce platform modernizations programs.
As a member of the team, you will specialize in driving the transformational initiatives that accelerate the success of Renewals through automation and digital engagement to achieve strategic goals. You will act as the liaison with our partners and the development team, guiding the product development process, defining the product vision, and running the product backlog. You will be responsible for improving the value of the product and ensuring that the team delivers features that meet customer needs and expectations.
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner with 3-5 years of experience to lead the agile execution for our Renewals Modernization programs.
In this role, you will be the primary driver of the development lifecycle, transforming the product vision into actionable delivery increments. You will act as the "voice of the customer" within the Scrum team, ensuring that every sprint delivers high-value features that align with strategic business goals.
As Customer Zero, you’ll define the product strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for scalable, secure, and high-impact AI-powered agent experiences across our internal Renewals and Customer Success teams.
Your work will directly enhance Renewals Manager (RM) productivity, automate complex renewal workflows, and transform how we use Salesforce’s platform to drive renewals pipeline and reduce customer attrition.
You will work cross functionally with sales, revenue and platform teams focussed on AI and Agent capabilities, while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and cross-cloud collaboration.
Key Responsibilities in Agile Execution
User Story & Backlog Management
Granular Backlog Refinement: Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is always transparent, visible, and understood.
User Story Crafting: Lead the translation of high-level business requirements into detailed, INVEST-compliant user stories and epics.
Acceptance Criteria: Define clear, testable acceptance criteria for every story to ensure the development team has a "Definition of Ready" before execution.
Functional Specifications: Author functional design specification documents to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
AI Evangelism & Innovation: Champion AI maturity across teams. Be a thought leader in scaling autonomous agents and influencing broader product and platform direction.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Drive alignment with internal stakeholders across sales, engineering, and platform teams to deliver business outcomes.
Scrum Team Delivery
Sprint Participation: Actively lead or participate in all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Decision Authority: Act as the final arbiter for requirements questions and priority trade-offs during the sprint to maintain team velocity.
PI Planning: Take a leadership role in Quarterly Program Increment (PI) Planning, coordinating work across cross-functional teams to optimize customer value.
Validation & UAT: Review and "accept" completed stories, ensuring the delivered increments meet the predefined quality standards and business objectives.
Strategic Stakeholder Alignment
Vision Communication: Communicate the product strategy and roadmap to both the development team and executive partners.
Feedback Loops: Capture and analyze stakeholder feedback to continuously optimize the product based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prototype & MVP: Oversee the building of prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to test hypotheses and measure success early.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within an Agile environment.
Agile Expertise: Expert-level understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise with the Salesforce platform, specifically Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce.
Certifications: Salesforce Admin Certification is preferred.
