Description

Who are Salesforce and Informatica? We’re bringing together Salesforce, the Customer Company, and Informatica, the pioneer in enterprise cloud data management, to inspire the future of business with AI + Data + CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry unify their complex data, blaze new trails, and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer too, driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good—you’ve come to the right place

About the Role As a Solution Architect, you are a trusted advisor to our internal collaborators, partners, and most importantly, our customers. As a key member of the technical sales team, you will ensure customer success by capturing unique business use cases and designing complex, scalable solutions on top of the Informatica Data Management Cloud. You will educate stakeholders on the Informatica value proposition, leading deep architectural discussions to ensure our solutions are perfectly designed for successful cloud deployment and consumption.

Within our technical sales community, we are looking for an active, continuous learner with a growth mindset. You will serve as a mentor to your peers and a thought leader in the industry, helping us build the future of data management.

Your Impact

  • Drive Customer Success: Independently manage customer engagements and design strategic technical account plans. You will engage with everyone from Data Engineers and Data Scientists to VP and Director-level personas, building deep credibility across the board.
  • Lead Technical Engagements: Drive sales to technical closure by owning the entire lifecycle of Customer-Specific Demos—from discovery and technical qualification to final presentation—with zero assistance. You will also lead RFP responses and Proof of Concepts (POCs) in your area of focus.
  • Be a Master Storyteller: Deliver expert presentations and storytelling that span multiple horizontal and industry-specific use cases. You will customize, create, and present demos, as well as present existing Executive Briefing Center (EBC) content onsite or virtually.
  • Fuel Pipeline & Growth: Ensure sustained revenue growth by conducting technical workshops, participating in industry marketing events, developing content for external circulation, and actively promoting our solutions on social media.
  • Empower the Team: Mentor your peers, share competitive best practices, and contribute to the development of shared selling assets, knowledge stores, and enablement materials. You will also partner with our Customer Success (CSM) teams to nurture ongoing technical advisory.

Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Data Management, Master Data Management (MDM), or Data Governance (DG).
  • 10+ years of prior presales, technical sales, or consulting experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Informatica services and product capabilities.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of hybrid deployment architectures, Data Warehousing, Database, and/or Business Intelligence software concepts.
  • Intermediate certification on at least 1 major Cloud Ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP) and 1 data-related cloud technology.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud computing security aspects.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to execute on strategic technical account plans.

Citizenship & Security Clearance: You must be an Australian citizen to hold a required security clearance. You will be required to submit documents through the myClearance portal, undergo background checks (character/employment), and be evaluated on risk and integrity factors by AGSVA. You must be eligible for at least one of the following:

  • Baseline: Access to PROTECTED information.
  • Negative Vetting 1 (NV1): Access to SECRET information.
  • Negative Vetting 2 (NV2): Access to TOP SECRET information.
  • Positive Vetting (PV): Highest level, for top-secret/highly sensitive information.
