Description
Background:
As our Customer Success organization scales, the complexity of our Go-To-Market strategy and customer coverage models has expanded significantly, requiring a more sophisticated data infrastructure. This role is a strategic investment to meet that growth, moving the team from manual data management to a more automated, scalable operation.
The Role:
As a Strategic Planning Senior Analyst, you are a critical partner in our Go-To-Market execution, serving as the primary bridge between raw data and our frontline teams. Your mission is to ensure our Go-To-Market engine runs on high-integrity data by turning business curiosities into technical requirements and scalable workflows.
We are looking for a unique individual at the intersection of business acumen and technical capability—someone who can bring hypotheses to life and serve as a trusted partner to our leadership. You won't just report numbers; you will be an active collaborator in shaping our strategy.
In this capacity, you will own the end-to-end data lifecycle—from understanding complex object relationships in Salesforce to querying large datasets in Snowflake. A core component of this role involves partnering directly with Customer Success leaders to build the organizational design and customer coverage models that define how we operate for the full fiscal year. You will ensure these structures align seamlessly with Sales, providing the technical backbone of the team during critical planning windows to meet tight execution timelines without sacrificing accuracy.
The ideal candidate is a strategic visionary with a strong bias for action who thrives on driving clarity in ambiguity. You possess the ability to navigate a complex multi-product environment where accountability is shared across teams—and you excel at bringing it all together. You can pivot from a 10,000-ft strategic view to rolling up your sleeves with a “get it done” attitude, providing the technical leverage necessary to ensure our strategy remains accurate, actionable, and aligned across the entire enterprise.
Responsibilities
Data Stewardship & Health: Act as the primary point of contact for our Go-To-Market data ecosystem. You will be responsible for auditing data integrity, maintaining data pipelines, and ensuring that our datasets (Salesforce, Snowflake, etc.) accurately reflect our business performance.
Process Improvement: Don’t just follow the manual—help us improve it. You will identify bottlenecks in how we collect or report data and develop automated solutions or templates to streamline annual planning (Go-for-Growth) deadlines and recurring reporting tasks.
Stakeholder Support: Serve as a reliable partner for our cross-functional teams. You will help different departments define their key performance indicators and translate their "business curiosities" into technical data models and reports that provide real answers.
Insights for Growth: Move beyond the what to the why. You will provide data-driven analysis to support organizational design and customer coverage models, ensuring our teams are aligned for success.
Project Execution: Support the end-to-end lifecycle of Go-To-Market projects. This includes everything from the initial discovery of what a team needs, to building the final visualization in Tableau and helping the team understand how to use the new tools you've built.
Basic Requirements
Experience: 4+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, Go-To-Market or Operating Model Strategy, Sales Strategy/Operations, Product Strategy, Corporate Strategy, or related experience. Preferably at a top consulting firm or high-growth SaaS company
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Strategic & Analytical Acumen: Strong ability to think strategically, analyze complex pre-sales, sales, and post-sales dynamics, and translate insights into actionable strategies
-
Technical Stack & Execution:
Required: SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Strongly Preferred: Salesforce, Snowflake, Python
Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated experience leading and working with cross-functional leaders, often in a matrixed environment. Ability to influence and align executive and senior stakeholders, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and tact while influencing and navigating productively through conflict.
Managing Ambiguity: Ability to navigate a high degree of change and execute effectively with minimal guidance. Comfortable working with limited information and shifting priorities during critical planning windows.
Business Case Modeling: Develop models to identify top- and bottom-line impact of proposed Go-To-Market initiatives in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
Communication Excellence: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience in high-level business discussions with executives
Dynamic Environment Aptitude: Self starter with high energy and passion for the role, and proven effectiveness leading teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Demonstrates grit in the face of challenges and knows how best to effectively use resources to achieve goals.
Collaboration & Teaming; A natural collaborator who can build strong relationships across the organization and within the team. Takes ownership, inspires others, is humble and authentic, expresses gratitude, and fosters trust.
