Description
We are looking for a Financial Services Industry Lead to drive industry-focused strategy and execution across our most strategic accounts in EMEA. This role sits at the intersection of sales, strategy, and industry expertise, with a focus on Banking, Insurance, and broader Financial Services segments. You will work closely with account teams, product specialists, marketing, and global industry experts to shape executive engagement, strengthen industry narratives, and accelerate growth in key accounts. Among others your priority will be to support our customers to capitalize on the agentic opportunity and accelerate their transformation.
This is a highly cross-functional role without direct quota responsibility, but with significant impact on strategic deal progression, customer relationships, and regional performance.
Specific Responsibilities include:
1. Executive Engagement & Account Impact
Support high-impact customer interactions with tailored narratives, value propositions, and solution positioning
Ensure strong follow-through from executive engagements to execution (e.g., next steps, partner alignment, delivery planning)
Design and drive executive engagement strategies (e.g., executive briefings, business reviews) for top accounts
Partner with account teams to shape strategic account plans aligned with industry priorities and customer outcomes
2. Industry Strategy & Insights
Analyze Financial Services market trends, customer priorities, and competitive dynamics to inform regional strategy
Provide actionable insights on performance drivers, risks, and growth opportunities across strategic accounts
Translate field feedback into clear recommendations for product, marketing, and leadership teams
Identify and prioritize high-impact industry initiatives to support growth and differentiation
3. Industry Content & Thought Leadership
Develop and refine industry-specific executive content (e.g., points of view, value cases, presentations)
Scale best practices, success stories, and repeatable industry plays across the region
Ensure consistency and quality of industry messaging across customer-facing teams
Collaborate with global industry teams to adapt and localize content for regional relevance
4. Operating Model & Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as a central connector across sales, product, marketing, and partners for Financial Services initiatives
Establish structured feedback loops between field teams and product organizations
Align regional execution with global industry strategy and best practices
Support prioritization and resource allocation for key industry initiatives
Requirements:
Experience: 10+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry, at a strategy or management consulting company or high-growth SaaS company.
Industry Exposure/Domain Knowledge: Demonstrated previous relevant exposure to Financial Services; understands trends, the high-level technology landscape, and how Salesforce can create value for companies in the industry.

Education: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience; M.Sc./MA/MBA preferred.
Executive Presentations & Influence: Strong presentation skills, with experience developing decks conveying actionable insights, and presenting to peers and executive leaders. Demonstrates high EQ and tact while influencing, negotiating, and navigating productively through conflict. Is able to have courageous discussions and lead cross-functionally at peer level and above to drive decisions forward.
Strong Analytical Skills for Business Planning: Strong data analysis and logical reasoning skills, with experience developing and understanding models and analyzing complex datasets.
Managing Ambiguity: Ability to work effectively through a high degree of change, demonstrating consistent ability to set a vision, prioritize, cut through noise, and execute through ambiguity. Comfortable working with limited information and asking questions.
Initiative & Quality: Self-starter who independently seeks new opportunities and drives work with minimal supervision. Is consistently accurate and delivers high-quality work on time
