Job Description Summary

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Full Stack Developer (SMTS) with 5+ years of experience or 6+ years to lead the design and development of scalable Salesforce applications. This role involves architecting full stack solutions, driving API-led integrations and building AI-powered agents with Agentforce. The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and leverages modern AI tools to accelerate innovation and delivery.

About the Role

Do you enjoy solving complex problems and building high-performing applications at scale on the Salesforce platform? We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong mix of technical depth, architectural thinking, and excellent communication skills.

As a Senior Salesforce Full Stack Developer (SMTS), you will be part of an extended engineering Ohana in DET, working closely with architects, engineers, designers, and product owners to deliver impactful solutions. You will play a key role in designing systems, guiding implementation, and ensuring high-quality delivery across large-scale initiatives.

In this role, you will lead full stack Salesforce development, design API-led integrations using MuleSoft and other enterprise integration platforms, and build AI-powered solutions using Agentforce, while mentoring team members and driving best practices across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of scalable applications on the Salesforce platform

  • Build and architect full stack solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and modern web technologies

  • Design and implement API-led integrations using MuleSoft and other enterprise integration platforms.

  • Build and scale AI-powered agents and solutions using Agentforce

  • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define system architecture and technical strategy

  • Champion best practices in SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software engineering

  • Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code with strong test coverage

  • Design and implement unit, integration, and automated testing strategies

  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive them to resolution

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth and technical excellence

  • Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and accelerate delivery

  • Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering practices, with AI as a core part of your development workflow by pushing the boundaries of AI development tools to deliver secure, optimized, and high-quality code.
  • Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows, driving efficiency and innovation at scale.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining the shared system context, an explicit repository of system designs, constraints, and standards that enables AI to operate accurately and reliably.
  • Critically evaluate code (human or AI-generated) for correctness, quality, security, and performance.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience or 6+ years in software development

  • Strong experience in Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL)

  • Proficiency in object-oriented design, design patterns, and scalable system design

  • Hands-on experience with web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

  • Experience designing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs and web services

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database concepts, and query languages (SOQL/SQL)

  • Experience with testing frameworks, quality engineering practices, and automation

  • Ability to lead initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, mentor, and communicate risks effectively

  • A demonstrated, genuine AI-first approach to engineering — using AI to move faster, build fluency across the stack, and contribute well beyond your core specialty.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, etc.) in development workflows.
  • Advanced prompt engineering skills and the ability to write precise, structured prompts and cultivate the system context that makes AI outputs reliable, secure, and production-ready.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MuleSoft and API-led architecture

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud

  • Experience building AI-powered solutions (e.g., Agentforce)

  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps tools, and test automation frameworks

  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Administrator Certification, Platform Developer II preferred)

  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or similar)

  • Experience working on large-scale enterprise implementations

  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude etc.) in development workflows
