Overview of the Role

As a member of the Controllership Organization, the Finance Data Analyst for Team Elev8 is responsible to support the daily operations for the Compensation and Benefit team for Applic8 and Tableau applications. This role involves developing and analyzing data models using multiple data sources to deliver actionable insights for the Controllership organization and leveraging data to streamline and optimize existing processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of data information models, ensuring the business receives accurate, relevant, and timely insights. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with a passion for uncovering solutions within large datasets and using data to improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Manage and execute daily operations for Applic8 and Tableau, ensuring timely and reliable delivery.

  • Business Partnership & Opportunity Identification: Collaborate with Compensation and Benefit stakeholders and Business Technology to identify opportunities to leverage data for improved business performance and operational efficiency, using Applic8 and Tableau platforms.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze datasets to identify trends, enabling accurate reporting and informed decision-making. Able to validate new data sources and data collection techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Strategic Impact: Deliver actionable insights and scalable solutions designed with a global, not regional, perspective. This helps bridging the gap between business teams and analytics specialists by coordinating cross-functional activities, and supporting project streams.

  • Tableau Expertise: Leverage Tableau to manage, visualize, and analyze Global Payroll Accounting data effectively.

  • End-to-End Delivery: Lead the full lifecycle of Tableau workbooks—from requirements gathering to development and business delivery.

  • Technical Expertise: Apply working knowledge of SQL to support investigations and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with Business Technology (BT).

  • Audit Readiness: Support and respond to internal and external audit requests, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance.

  • Trust & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance in handling employee information.

Qualifications

  • Experience will be evaluated based on the Core Competencies for the role.

  • Strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with hands-on experience in Snowflake and Tableau. Additional Applic8 experience is preferred.

  • Experience in Finance domain architectures including ERP and related systems.

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the Data domain.

  • Ability to multitask and to balance shifting priorities while delivering high-quality outputs.

  • Strong problem solving, and analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Flexible to support global operations, including availability outside standard business hours when required.
