Role Summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced and strategic workplace leader to join the Global Workplace Services team as Senior Manager – Workplace Services based in Bengaluru. This role will lead workplace operations across a portfolio of approximately 1.5 million sq. ft., supporting an employee population of nearly 10,000 employees across multiple office locations/campuses.

The role requires a dynamic people leader with strong operational expertise, stakeholder management capabilities, financial acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional employee workplace experiences. The individual will oversee integrated workplace operations, lead a team of workplace managers and specialists, and drive operational excellence aligned with Salesforce’s global workplace standards and employee-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

Workplace Operations Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end workplace and facilities operations across a large-scale corporate portfolio of ~1.5M sq. ft. in Bengaluru.

  • Ensure seamless delivery of workplace services including engineering operations, housekeeping, transport and mailroom, services.

  • Maintain best-in-class workplace standards focused on employee experience, operational efficiency, and service excellence.

  • Partner with Global Real Estate and Projects teams to support workplace transitions, office expansions, consolidations, and strategic initiatives.

People Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing workplace services team comprising 3–4 direct reports and broader vendor-managed teams.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Coach and mentor team members to strengthen leadership capabilities and operational effectiveness.

  • Drive employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and talent development initiatives within the team.

Stakeholder & Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary workplace services partner for business leaders and functional stakeholders across Bengaluru campuses.

  • Build strong partnerships with ES, IT, Security, Procurement, Finance, Employee Success, and Real Estate teams.

  • Understand business growth plans, occupancy trends, and organizational changes to proactively support workplace requirements.

  • Lead executive-level communication related to workplace operations, employee experience, and business continuity initiatives.

Vendor & Service Partner Management

  • Oversee Integrated Facility Management (IFM) partners and workplace service vendors to ensure SLA/KPI adherence.

  • Conduct regular business reviews, governance meetings, and performance evaluations with service providers.

  • Drive operational efficiencies, innovation, and cost optimization through strategic vendor partnerships.

  • Ensure consistent compliance with contractual obligations, workplace standards, and safety requirements.

Space Planning & Occupancy Management

  • Collaborate with workplace strategy and space planning teams to optimize seat utilization and workplace allocation.

  • Support stacking plans, neighborhood strategies, and hybrid workplace initiatives.

  • Analyze occupancy and utilization metrics to drive data-informed workplace decisions.

  • Ensure workplace readiness for organizational changes, hiring growth, and business transformations.

Financial Management

  • Manage annual operating budgets, forecasting, and expense controls for workplace operations.

  • Identify opportunities for operational savings, process improvements, and efficiency gains.

  • Ensure financial governance and compliance across all workplace service contracts and operational spend.

Compliance, Safety & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all local statutory, environmental, health & safety, and fire & life safety regulations.

  • Lead emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity planning initiatives.

  • Drive workplace safety culture and ensure operational risk mitigation across all sites.

  • Support sustainability and ESG initiatives aligned with Salesforce’s environmental commitments.

Employee Experience & Workplace Culture

  • Support employee engagement programs, workplace events, and culture-building initiatives.

  • Continuously enhance workplace services through employee feedback, benchmarking, and innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • 15–18+ years of experience in Workplace Services, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, or related functions.

  • Demonstrated experience managing large corporate office portfolios exceeding 1M sq. ft.

  • Experience supporting employee populations of 5,000+ in complex, fast-paced environments.

  • Proven people leadership experience managing high-performing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong expertise in integrated facilities management, vendor governance, workplace strategy, and operational excellence.

  • Experience working within multinational corporate or technology environments preferred.
