Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Partner Marketing Strategy & Operations Senior Analyst to join our team and serve as a critical analytical partner to marketing stakeholders. In this role, you will transform complex, multi-source data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. You thrive in ambiguity, can navigate messy datasets with confidence, and know how to tell a compelling story with data. This role is expected to operate at the frontier of AI-augmented analytics — not as a future aspiration, but as a current working practice. The right candidate brings both deep analytical rigor and fluency with AI tools as everyday instruments.
What You'll Do
Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand business questions, define analytical requirements, and deliver timely, high-quality insights
Build and maintain dashboards and data visualizations that make complex performance trends accessible and actionable for executive and operational audiences
Write and optimize SQL queries across multiple data sources and complex data models to surface accurate, reliable metrics
Own end-to-end data problem-solving — from identifying data quality issues and tracing them to their root cause, to proposing and implementing clean, scalable solutions
Navigate Salesforce data structures to extract CRM insights, support pipeline analysis, and connect operational data to business outcomes
Work across multiple complex data models simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and context-switching efficiently without losing attention to detail
Connect the dots across disparate datasets and business signals to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that others might miss
Translate data findings into clear recommendations — communicating insights in plain language, whether in a slide deck, a Slack message, or a stakeholder meeting
Leverage AI-assisted analytics tools (including Smartsheet automation, AI-powered slide building, data dictionaries, and similar platforms) to accelerate delivery and improve output quality
Proactively surface risks and opportunities without waiting to be asked — you anticipate what stakeholders need before they know they need it
Architect natural-language-to-SQL workflows using AI tools to accelerate ad-hoc stakeholder requests, while owning validation and accuracy
Lead the team's working knowledge of emerging AI analytics tools — evaluating new capabilities, piloting use cases, and documenting what works
Use AI-assisted drafting for executive summaries and data narratives, then edit for accuracy, audience, and strategic framing
What We're Looking For
Technical Skills
Expert-level data visualization — experience with Tableau; ability to design dashboards that drive decisions, not just display numbers
Advanced SQL proficiency — comfortable writing complex queries, joins, common table expression (CTE), window functions, and performance-tuning across large datasets
Deep familiarity with Salesforce data architecture — understanding of standard and custom objects, relationships, and how CRM data maps to business processes
Ability to manage complex, messy datasets — skilled at data cleaning, deduplication, reconciliation, and documentation
Experience with AI-assisted analytics workflows — Smartsheet automation, data dictionaries, AI-assisted reporting tools, or similar
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Strong data troubleshooting aptitude diagnosing data discrepancies and relentless in finding the source of truth
Ability to work across multiple complex data models simultaneously without losing accuracy or context
Pattern recognition — connects signals across datasets to form a coherent, big-picture view
Translates raw analysis into clear, actionable business recommendations
Interpersonal & Communication Skills
Clear, confident communicator — able to present technical findings to non-technical audiences
Strong stakeholder management — builds trust, manages expectations, and maintains productive relationships across functions and levels of seniority
Proactive and self-directed — raises issues, proposes solutions, and moves work forward without waiting for direction
High attention to detail — takes pride in the accuracy and quality of every output
Preferred Qualifications
4–6+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, strategy, or marketing operations roles
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
Experience supporting marketing, revenue operations, or corporate strategy functions
Exposure to modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
Demonstrated experience building AI-assisted analytics workflows, including prompt engineering, output validation, and quality control of AI-generated SQL, summaries, or data documentation
Ability to evaluate and selectively deploy AI tools (e.g., Einstein, Agentforce, Copilot) for specific analytical tasks — knowing when to use them and when human judgment is required
Comfort operating as an ethical reviewer of AI outputs: accountable for accuracy, appropriateness, and business readiness before sharing with stakeholders
Why This Role
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of data and strategy. You won't just build reports — you'll shape how the business understands itself and makes decisions. If you're someone who gets energized by a messy data problem, loves connecting dots across complex systems, and wants their work to matter at the executive level, this is the role for you.
