About the Role

We're looking for an exceptional Solution Engineer to join our ANZ Nonprofit team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a high-visibility, high-impact opportunity that puts you at the intersection of technology and social good.

This role goes beyond traditional pre-sales. You'll be the technical heartbeat of the sales cycle, leading discovery, designing tailored Salesforce solutions, delivering compelling story-driven demonstrations, and building the kind of trusted advisor relationships that genuinely transform how nonprofits operate. You'll work alongside a passionate, purpose-driven team and make a real difference to the communities they serve.

What You'll Do

  • Be the Technical Voice of the Customer. Through carefully planned discovery with a range of stakeholders, uncover the specific business requirements and value drivers that make technology a compelling, transformative investment for nonprofit organisations
  • Design & Build. Create innovative, customised solutions on the Salesforce platform and bring them to life through story-driven, business-value-aligned demonstrations
  • Influence at Every Level. Confidently present and concisely articulate the value of Salesforce solutions to stakeholders from program managers through to C-suite executives
  • Lead with Thought Leadership. Help organisations understand how digital transformation can drive mission success, and inspire them to act
  • Own the Technical Conversation. Deliver responses to RFPs/RFIs, address technical objections, and present Salesforce's full technology stack with authority
  • Collaborate & Amplify. Orchestrate extended solution teams, share knowledge across the broader SE community, and represent Salesforce at industry and marketing events
  • Keep Growing. Pursue relevant certifications and training to stay sharp and effective in role

Who You Are

Required:

  • University Degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer, Salesforce Technical Lead, or Implementation Consultant, ideally with exposure to medium or large organisations
  • Knowledge of, interest in, or background in the nonprofit, NDIS, or aged care sectors
  • Solid working knowledge of the Salesforce platform
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills , you can capture complex requirements and turn them into a clear, compelling value narrative
  • Outstanding presentation and demonstration skills with a talent for storytelling
  • A collaborative team player who can solve both business and technical problems
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills in a dynamic sales environment

Preferred:

  • Technical understanding of SaaS architecture and modern enterprise integrations
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing and CRM ecosystems
  • Multi-product solution selling experience
  • Ability to construct business cases and ROI models
