Description

About the Role

We're looking for a talented and collaborative Senior User Experience Designer to join our Platform team. In this role, you'll shape the end-to-end experience of the products and tools that power our platform — from developer-facing interfaces to internal tooling and customer-facing surfaces. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to define, prototype, and deliver experiences that are intuitive, scalable, and delightful.

What You'll Do

  • Lead UX design for platform features — from early discovery and concept through detailed interaction design and delivery

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and interviews to develop a deep understanding of user needs, pain points, and behaviors

  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear, elegant design solutions

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, flows, and high-fidelity mockups that communicate design intent

  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure pixel-perfect, accessible implementation

  • Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across the platform

  • Facilitate design reviews, workshops, and critiques with cross-functional partners

  • Champion accessibility and inclusive design principles across all work

  • Advocate for the user perspective in product roadmap discussions and prioritization

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of product or UX design experience, ideally in a platform, infrastructure, or developer tools context

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX process — from research and ideation to polished UI

  • Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, or similar)

  • Experience designing complex, data-rich interfaces and technical workflows

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to clearly present and defend design decisions as well as strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher)

  • A related technical degree required

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for developer or API-facing products

  • Background in or exposure to design systems and component libraries

  • Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML/CSS/JS)

  • Experience conducting generative and evaluative research independently
