ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Lead, Motion Design specialized in 3D & Spatial Systems to architect the dimensional and environmental assets of Salesforce’s global visual language. This is a systems-level design leadership role focused on origination rather than simple asset production or adaptation.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Motion Design, you will act as the technical and creative custodian for 3D environments, character structures, and spatial standards. You will leverage an AI-forward production pipeline to deliver cinematic-grade quality at enterprise scale, ensuring everything created in the MXC node is modular, optimized, and engineered for global export.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Motion DNA & System Architecture: Design, codify, and maintain the comprehensive motion design system, establishing core guidelines for easing curves, layout transitions, timing standards, and responsive behaviors.

2. Vector & Interactive Automation: Pioneer the creation of ultra-lightweight, interactive motion assets using next-generation runtimes like Rive and Lottie, embedding motion tokens directly into design system handoffs.

3. Agentic Creativity Integration: Deploy advanced generative AI tools and custom automation scripts within the motion pipeline to eliminate repetitive production tasks, accelerating framework creation by 30% without losing human craft.

4. Global Library Custody: Build and structure modular toolkits and kinetic presets within Brand Central, safeguarding the systematic scalability of our motion standards globally.

5. Figma & UI Product Bridge: Collaborate closely with product design teams to ensure marketing motion systems blend natively with interactive product UI behaviors, maintaining absolute consistency across user journeys.

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE

1. 8+ Years of Master Craft: Extensive experience leading motion design systems, interactive kinetic animation, and interface choreography inside a world-class creative agency, product studio, or elite client group.

2. Systems-First Mentality: A portfolio demonstrating heavy execution of repeatable design frameworks, interactive UI behaviors, and automated asset toolkits (not just traditional linear video editing).

3. Advanced Toolkit Command: Expert level in Adobe After Effects for conceptual mapping and vector choreography, combined with deep functional proficiency in modern interactive runtimes like Rive, Lottie, and JSON-based motion architectures.

4. Figma & Handoff Fluency: Seamless integration into Figma workflows and token-based design systems, executing precise creative handoffs between creative animation and engineering teams.

5. Executive Communication: Full professional fluency in English to lead technical art direction, author rigorous kinetic briefs, and present complex systems logic to global leadership.
