ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Lead, Art Direction (Level 8) to act as a primary visual strategist and creative catalyst for the Mexico City node. In this role, you will not be focusing on everyday pixel execution; you are a visionary design leader responsible for establishing the macro visual direction, narrative architecture, and conceptual frameworks that define how the Salesforce brand communicates globally.
Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you will co-lead the visual output of the MXC cell, ensuring every campaign and brand experience meets a world-class standard. You will champion the intersection of traditional human craft and modern agentic workflows, guiding the team to conceptualize bold, systems-driven creative solutions that are engineered from day one for global export.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Visual Stewardship & Conceptualization: Partner with Creative Director to originate high-level visual concepts, creative hooks, and brand narratives for global campaigns and monumental experiences like Dreamforce.
2. Art Direction & Brand Accuracy: Govern the overarching aesthetic direction for all design and motion outputs, ensuring 100% adherence to Brand Central standards while pushing the boundaries of creative innovation.
3. Agentic Creative Leadership: Lead the team in adopting cutting-edge AI technologies as conceptual partners, identifying how generative toolkits can accelerate visual brainstorming, moodboarding, and layout design by 30% without sacrificing soul or craft.
4. Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Present, pitch, and defend complex creative strategies and visual directions to senior and executive-level audiences with clarity, persuasion, and executive-level fluency.
5. Cross-Functional System Integration: Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Motion Design and product teams to ensure that static, spatial, and kinetic art directions blend into one seamless, unified brand experience.
WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE
1. 10+ Years of Elite Design Leadership: Extensive experience steering art direction, brand design, and multi-platform creative strategy inside a world-class creative agency, client-side group, or leading tech company.
2. Systems-First Creative Portfolio: A world-class portfolio of work showcasing a sophisticated understanding of typography, color systems, photography, and comprehensive brand identity systems applied at enterprise scale.
3. AI-Forward Conceptual Mastery: Proven ability or heavy experimentation in leveraging generative AI stacks to scale creative ideation, advanced texturing, and rapid style prototyping.
4. Cross-Functional Alignment: Demonstrated success navigating global, matrixed organizations and leading cross-functional creative cells under tight deadlines.
5. Linguistic & Narrative Fluency: Exceptional communication skills in English, with a proven track record of writing detailed creative briefs, leading art direction feedback loops, and presenting to C-level stakeholders.
HOW SUCCESS IS MEASURED
Performance will be highly KPI-driven, aligned directly with the cell's strategic objectives:
1. Executive Alignment Rate (Target: 70%): Achieving 70% immediate alignment on core concept, brand tone, and visual narrative on first-round presentations to executive audiences.
2. First-pass Brand Compliance (Target: 100%): Every creative direction, moodboard, or style frame presented must align strictly with Brand Central guidelines, keeping feedback focused on creative edge rather than corrections.
3. Global Adoption & Node Role Evolution: Ensuring that the conceptual frameworks originated in the MXC node are potent enough to be adopted by AMER and EMEA regional hubs, shifting the node's balance toward 40% purely systemic origination.
