Our Business Development Representatives are at the frontline of pipeline generation — engaging government and public sector organisations, uncovering opportunities, and building the relationships that drive long-term impact. We're looking for an experienced and inspiring leader to coach, develop, and elevate this team.

The Role

As BDR Manager, Public Sector, you'll lead a team of early-career sales professionals — recent graduates and career changers — helping them build the skills, confidence, and commercial instincts to thrive at Salesforce and beyond. This is a high-impact leadership role where your coaching directly shapes pipeline and careers.

And the timing couldn't be more exciting. You'll be leading a team at the intersection of public sector transformation and the AI revolution — giving your BDRs a front-row seat to one of the most significant shifts in enterprise technology.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop a team of Public Sector BDRs across inbound and outbound prospecting motions
  • Create a high-performance culture built on accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and Leadership to align go-to-market activity
  • Drive team performance through data, metrics, and hands-on coaching
  • Own pipeline quality for the Public Sector Sales team — consistent, qualified, and ready to convert
  • Stay nimble — adapting team focus as business priorities evolve, including the rapidly growing AI and Agentforce opportunity


What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience leading a BDR, SDR, or Inside Sales team
  • Deep understanding of pipeline generation and the BDR's role in the revenue engine
  • Public sector experience or genuine curiosity about the government and education landscape
  • A data-driven coaching style — you use numbers to develop people, not just track them
  • A genuine passion for mentoring early-career talent and investing in their growth
  • Adaptability and calm in fast-moving environments
