Description

Salesforce is looking for a Credit & Collections Analyst to join our Finance Operations team in Bangalore. This hybrid role supports the Order-to-Cash (O2C) function by ensuring timely collection of invoices, maintaining accurate accounts receivable records, and delivering a high level of professionalism in all customer communications. The role requires flexibility to support business requirements across different time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely collection of invoices with routine follow-up via emails and phone calls on assigned accounts, maintaining a high level of professionalism in all communications

  • Maintain detailed post-correspondence updates on accounts receivable records to ensure aging is current, credits and collections are correctly applied, and uncollectible amounts are properly accounted for

  • Research and resolve billing disputes, short payments, and invoice discrepancies in collaboration with Billing, Sales, and Legal teams

  • Track and document all collection activity and account notes within Salesforce CRM/GetPaid

  • Prepare and present aging reports and collection status summaries to management

  • Support month-end close activities including AR reconciliations and bad debt analysis

  • Identify at-risk accounts and escalate appropriately following internal credit policies

  • Maintain compliance with SOX requirements and internal financial controls

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end O2C cycle

  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Ability to work in a hybrid model from the Bangalore office and be flexible to support across business time zones

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B collections within a SaaS or technology company

  • MBA in Finance preferred

  • Familiarity with GAAP revenue recognition principles

  • Experience with dispute tracking and credit risk assessment
