The Experience
The Account Executive, Manufacturing, is part of the Swiss Mid-Market Sales team at Salesforce, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of mid-market accounts in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will translate customer business strategy into Salesforce solutions that drive measurable impact — working closely with internal specialists and engaging directly with key decision makers to deliver joint business success.
We are looking for an Account Executive who is innovative, strategic, and commercially driven — someone who can design a clear account vision, execute against it with precision, and build lasting customer partnerships in the manufacturing sector.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Position Salesforce solutions across the full portfolio through strategic value-based selling — including business case definition and return on investment analysis — while driving both new business development and expansion within assigned mid-market manufacturing accounts.
Build and develop C-level and senior stakeholder relationships, identifying and progressing new opportunities, and owning the end-to-end sales cycle through engagement of appropriate resources including Solution Engineers, Professional Services, and Partners.
Generate short-term results while maintaining a long-term perspective to improve overall revenue generation, providing accurate monthly forecasting and pipeline management.
Work across a matrixed organisation — collaborating with internal teams including Customer Success, solution architects, and local specialists — to deliver a cohesive, outcome-focused customer experience.
You're Our Person If...
You have solid solution sales experience selling software into mid-market or enterprise organisations, with a proven track record of driving and closing commercial deals and developing existing accounts.
You have strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable engaging with C-level and senior decision makers, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into compelling Salesforce solutions.
You are skilled at managing multiple priorities simultaneously, working effectively within a matrixed environment, and maintaining high productivity in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
You have a consistent track record of driving growth through both new customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.
Even Better If...
You have familiarity with the Swiss manufacturing industry landscape and experience engaging with mid-market customers across multiple sites or business units.
You have experience working cross-functionally with Customer Success, solution architects, and partner teams to support complex deal execution.
