Description

Right now, we are inventing the future of Agentic Service. Not theorizing about it. Not piloting it. Building it, proving it, and setting the standard for what every enterprise will eventually follow. The innovations happening on this team are redefining how businesses serve their customers at scale, and the world is starting to pay attention.

That's where you come in. We're looking for a Manager, Communications and Executive Storytelling to make sure this work gets seen, understood, and celebrated at every level of Salesforce and across the market we're helping to shape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Internal Communications Ownership: Plan, write, and produce a regular employee newsletter that people actually look forward to. Own the full editorial process, from calendar to sourcing to writing to editing, and treat every edition as proof that something remarkable is happening on this team. Newsletter ownership is a must; this is the heartbeat of the role.

  • Executive and Leader Communications: Draft communications on behalf of senior leaders, including internal messages, all-hands talking points, org announcements, and leadership updates. You write for the speaker, not for yourself, and you understand what it takes to earn trust at the top.

  • Social Media Management: Own and manage social media content for senior leaders, primarily LinkedIn. Translate strategy, milestones, and moments into posts that reflect each leader's voice while amplifying the team's work to the broader market.

  • Cross-Org Communications Coordination: Serve as the connective tissue across communication workstreams and cross-functional partners including Creative, Marketing, PMM, and beyond. Align timelines, manage review cycles, and ensure the right people are in the loop without things falling through the cracks.

  • Recognition and Culture Storytelling: Proactively surface stories of innovation, impact, and people doing great work. This role is a key mechanism for how our work earns visibility at every level of Salesforce. You'll help make the invisible visible.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

  • Communications Craft: 3 to 5 years of experience in internal communications, editorial, or executive communications, with a strong portfolio of writing across formats and audiences.

  • Newsletter Experience: Direct, hands-on experience owning and producing employee or organizational newsletters. This is non-negotiable. You should know what makes people actually open and read them, and you should be proud of what you've built.

  • Writing Versatility: You shift registers naturally, from a punchy newsletter opener to a measured leadership message to a sharp LinkedIn post, without losing the voice or the point.

  • Executive Support Experience: Experience drafting content that will be delivered by someone other than you. You understand tone, judgment, and what a senior leader actually needs to communicate with confidence.

  • Technology Curiosity: A genuine, deep curiosity about AI and enterprise technology. You don't need to be an engineer. You need to be the kind of person who reads the release notes, asks the questions, and gets excited about what's possible. This team is at the frontier of agentic innovation and you'll be telling that story every week.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing or contributing to social media for executives or brands

  • Familiarity with Salesforce products or enterprise SaaS

  • Background in culture-building, employee experience, or change communications

  • Fluency with AI tools and a track record of using them to work smarter, move faster, and raise the bar on output quality. Bonus points if you've modeled that behavior for a team or used AI to scale work that would otherwise hit a ceiling.
