Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CSR Analyst with 3+ years of experience to join India Philanthropy team. They will be responsible for analyzing CSR data, preparing reports, coordinating with non-profit partners, philanthropy comms and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. In partnership with a global network of social impact colleagues and subject matter experts, this person will operationalize a portfolio of India CSR grants aligned with our core priorities of education & climate resilience. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Indian CSR domain with a basic understanding of CSR compliance and regulations, and a network of NGO partners aligned to Salesforce’s strategic priorities of education and climate. They should be process-driven and able to deliver operational excellence while building strong stakeholder relationships at all levels of the company. Specific responsibilities include: Grants Operations -Own end-to-end grant lifecycle operations for India CSR grants including leading RFP process, docket review & organization, updating Grants Management System -Manage annual budget effectively including tracking grant pipeline, managing forecast, and processing payments in a timely and compliant manner -Partner with India finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with CSR regulations -Monitor and audit CSR grant portfolio, creating performance indicators and measuring success -Maintain files, reports, and other necessary documents for compliance and audit purposes -Maintain India microsite with latest India CSR specific information & support with Philanthropy impact communication including CSR Annual Reports, Internal Comms & External PR Disaster Resilience -Support India-wide disaster resilience efforts through strategic partnerships and employee engagement in alignment with global Philanthropy team Grant Pipeline & Strategic Alignment -Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management -In partnership with global Philanthropy colleagues across the company, support developing a strong pipeline of strategically-aligned grantees and build dockets that can be moved forward for approval -Operations support for the India Agent for Impact accelerator program -Actively create opportunities for partnership, collaboration, and engagement with grantees in partnership with Sustainability and India Employee Impact colleagues Ideal qualifications include: -3+ years experience in philanthropy grantmaking and grant operations -Good understanding of India CSR regulatory norms and experience adjusting programs to align with new rules -Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to achieve strategic objectives -Ability to develop relationships and credibility with executive leaders to drive change in a fast-paced organization -Understanding of impact measurement and reporting Requirements for success: Ability to work an altered schedule to allow for regular overlap in working hours with colleagues based in North America; Located in Bangalore, with the ability to travel to CSR field sites on an as-needed basis for monitoring. Skills Required -Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to achieve strategic objectives -Ability to develop strong cross-functional working relationships across functions and geographies -Proactive, adaptive, team-oriented, self-starter with a positive can-do attitude -Familiar with philanthropy and social impact, either on the corporate side or from a nonprofit perspective Preferred Experience -3+ years experience in grant operations or corporate philanthropy -Understanding of grant operations and/or one or more of our strategic priorities of education & economic opportunity and ecosystem restoration & climate justice -Understanding of impact measurement, reporting & communication
