This position is based in Hyderabad and rolls up under the Controllership India Controller within the worldwide Controller Organization. The Manager- Accounting is responsible for many aspects of financial activities ranging from application of the US and local GAAP’s to accounting transactions, the monthly financial close, financial statement preparation in compliance with INDAS standards in a fast-paced, non-traditional, multi-country and multi-currency rapid growth environment in Asia Pacific, specifically India. In addition, she or he needs to interact with our external auditors to ensure annual audits are completed on time and to ensure local compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain full set of books for India as per INDAS compliances

  • Monitor compliance with Corporate Accounting instructions and applicable financial policies.

  • Good Understanding of IFRS/IND-AS accounting standards.

  • Co-ordinate statutory audit, ensuring that it is completed on a timely basis

  • Ability to work independently with all stakeholders to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and any changes communicated.

  • Monitor compliance with Local IFC frameworks and highlight risks proactively.

  • Drive special projects through to completion

Required Skills/Experience

  • 9+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years in a Big 4, with main focus on financial statements preparation as per INDAS in a multinational dynamic environment and ability to deliver results. Qualified CA or equivalent desirable.

  • Deep understanding in India Compliance requirements with practical experiences

  • Understanding of ERP systems and willingness to learn quickly. Knowledge of other tools such as Workday Financials, Blackline, eGRC360, Tableau, Hyperion, Microsoft Excel,Workiva Slack, etc. is desirable

  • Passion in process improvement and automation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to engage peers, team members and stakeholders in India and other regions. May require to participate occasionally in conference calls outside office hours.

  • Strong ability to respond quickly to various requests

  • Must be a self-starter - ability to self-motivate, adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
