About the Role

We're looking for a strategic and creative Event Content Manager to lead content development for Informatica's event programs. You'll work cross-functionally to organize content, manage speaker programs, and ensure every session and demo delivers a memorable, on-brand experience for attendees.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end content strategy and development for events, including session allocations, titles/abstracts, staffing, speaker briefs, and presentation guidelines
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales/Tech Sales and the broader Events team to align event content with business priorities and messaging frameworks
  • Manage the speaker submission and selection process, including intake, review, and coordination with internal and external speakers
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendars and 'content-in-a-box' for event programming across owned and third-party events
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure content is visually and narratively cohesive across formats
  • Analyze post-event data and attendee feedback to continuously improve content quality and format
  • Support the development of event content for digital/hybrid formats, including session descriptions, scripts, and pre/post content
  • Manage content operations for a flagship annual event, including session catalog, agenda structure, and content tracks
  • Serve as the primary content liaison between internal stakeholders and external speakers or partners
  • Build and maintain a content taxonomy and session categorization framework to improve attendee navigation and experience
  • Oversee content intake tools and platforms (e.g., speaker portals, abstract management systems) from open call through final delivery
  • Coordinate with localization or accessibility teams to ensure event content meets global and inclusive standards
  • Maintain a master content tracker across all event sessions, ensuring accuracy of titles, abstracts, and speaker information through final publish

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in program management, event programming, or marketing communications
  • Strong writing, editing, and organization skills — you can translate complex topics into compelling narratives
  • Experience managing large-scale event content programs (in-person, virtual, or hybrid)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills
  • Familiarity with event technology platforms and content management tools
  • Experience with B2B or enterprise tech marketing a plus

Nice to Have

  • Background in product marketing or solutions marketing
  • Experience supporting marquee events (e.g., user conferences, trade shows, virtual summits)
  • Comfort with data — using insights to shape content decisions
  • Experience managing content for a named, branded event property (e.g., Informatica World, Dreamforce, etc.)
