About the Team: Technical writers in the Content Experience organization at Salesforce produce documentation and user assistance that helps customers get the most out of our products. We work closely with product managers, engineers, and the user experience team in an Agile development environment to produce online help, guides, videos, and in-app assistance for administrators, users, and developers.
What We’re Looking for: You’re a problem solver with excellent people skills who knows what your customers need. You have proven experience writing easy-to-read help, UI text, and guides, and creating videos, tutorials, and other user assistance for enterprise business applications. You're a great match if you're self-directed, passionate about technology, produce high-quality documentation, and understand how your work contributes to the overall success of the product. You understand that autonomy and teamwork aren’t opposing, but complementary, values. You will support scrum teams, and use the latest tools and processes in an Agile development environment to deliver the best work of your career!
Responsibilities: Own, create, and maintain documentation and in-app assistance for the Salesforce application, primarily Agentforce Sales.
Required Experience/Skills:
Under 2 years of experience as a writer, editor, or developer,
Undergrad or Masters graduate within 12 months of grad date
Ability to adhere to existing styles and processes
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Experience creating online help
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Focus on quality and details
Knowledge of XML or HTML
Strong team player
Customer advocate
Bachelor's degree in a technical or communications field
Desired Experience/Skills:
Experience documenting software
Experience with video and image editing software (Camtasia)
Experience with source control software such as Perforce or Git
Experience with authoring tools such as Oxygen XML Editor
Experience with Markdown and AI tools, such as Claude Code or Cursor
