Overview of the Role:

Join Salesforce as an Account Executive within our UKI Telecommunications team, working in a two-person coverage model on a single strategic telco account. You will partner closely with a fellow Account Executive to drive commercial outcomes for one of the UK's key network providers, operating in an environment where telco customers are actively investing in AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with a fellow Account Executive to jointly own a single strategic UK telco account, driving expansion revenue

  • Build and manage your share of the pipeline by proactively prospecting, opening new doors, and progressing deals from discovery through to close.

  • Develop value-based business cases that align Salesforce's AI and platform capabilities to the commercial priorities of your customer.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with your AE partner and wider team to deliver customer outcomes while maintaining shared accountability for the account.


Required Qualifications:

  • Enterprise sales experience with a track record of achieving and exceeding quota in complex B2B environments.

  • Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close business

  • Strong value-selling skills with the ability to build business cases tied to customer outcomes.

  • Evidence of resilience and the ability to learn from setbacks.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling into the telecommunications industry.

  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC (Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Identify Pain, Champion, Competition) or a similar enterprise sales methodology.

  • Experience selling AI, data, or platform technology solutions.
