About Salesforce:
We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good, you’ve come to the right place.
About the Role
We are seeking a visionary, hands-on Technical Architect / Senior Technical Architect to establish the horizontal architectural vision, platform strategy, and technical governance for our next-generation pre-sales scoping and estimation tool. In this role, you will act as an elite technical anchor—partnering directly with business stakeholders to convert complex business parameters into functional prototypes within accelerated timeframes. You will own the high-level and low-level system designs, guiding a lean engineering team in choosing optimized frameworks while architecting web applications embedded with highly advanced, context-aware AI agents. You will be provided with premium AI tooling environments to design a resilient, secure, and self-correcting engineering ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Alignment & Rapid Prototyping: Partner directly with business stakeholders to extract and interpret intricate scoping requirements. Take full ownership of rapid, high-impact Proof of Concepts (POCs) and innovation spikes to de-risk technical choices early in the lifecycle.
Design & Framework Governance: Define and distribute robust High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD). Guide the development team on structural tool selections, enforcing clean separation of concerns and pattern optimization across the stack.
Agentic Orchestration & MCP Integration: Lead the design and implementation of web-based applications containing embedded background agents utilizing Claude plugin agents. Architect unified system integrations using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to allow background agents to seamlessly and securely communicate with external systems.
Secure Service Infrastructure: Architect scalable RESTful services and execute elite enterprise security strategies. Mandate and implement precise authentication topologies across distributed environments, specializing in OAuth variants (including Username-Password flow, Web Server flow, and JWT flow).
DevOps & SaaS Architecture: Enforce modern deployment strategies tailored for SaaS delivery models, utilizing hosting platforms like Heroku or cloud-native alternatives. Establish mature CI/CD ingestion workflows utilizing Jenkins and Git to guarantee bulletproof automation and zero-downtime releases.
Required Experience & Skills
Professional Experience: Related technical degree with comprehensive, high-yield experience delivering enterprise-grade full-stack web architectures.
Advanced Web Stack Mastery: Master-level understanding of Advanced JavaScript / TypeScript coupled with operational familiarity across web frameworks such as Node.js, React, or AngularJS.
AI Integration & Next-Gen Tooling: Practical experience engineering applications featuring embedded LLM architectures, background agent flows, and prompt optimization. Expert command of automated AI-native toolchains (such as Cursor or Claude Code) to accelerate feature shipping is highly valued.
Security & Database Rigor: Solid foundations in database design, data persistence optimization, and security patterns (OAuth 2.0, JSON Web Tokens).
DevOps and Lifecycle Ownership: Hands-on mastery of source control (Git), automated build tools (Jenkins), and production maintenance pipelines inside modern web substrates.
Good knowledge in Object Oriented Programming Concepts.
Desired Experience & Certifications
Background or technical familiarity with the Force.com infrastructure (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Data Cloud) is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
Prior active engagement or custom server implementations using the open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) ecosystem.
