Description
SVP, Product Management – Agentforce Development Lifecycle
About the Role
We are seeking a visionary SVP of Product Management for the Agentforce Development Lifecycle (ADLC). As the enterprise shifts from traditional software deployment to an era of autonomous digital labor, the way software is built, tested, deployed, and governed must be completely reinvented. In this high-impact executive role, you will define and own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and execution roadmap for the next-generation operating system governing Agentforce applications. You will lead the core product suites, including AI-assisted development tools, automated agent testing simulations, and secure deployment pipelines, ensuring that every enterprise can build, deploy, and scale trusted agents fearlessly. This leader will possess a general manager (GM) mindset, balancing deep technical architecture with commercial packaging, ecosystem strategy, and world-class people leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision & The North Star
- Craft and evangelize a bold vision that redefines Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) into an autonomous, agent-first paradigm (ADLC).
- Anticipate where the AI-powered enterprise is heading, positioning Salesforce at the forefront of developer, admin, and architect tooling.
- Adopt a GM mindset to influence pricing, packaging, commercialization, and business model strategies that accelerate platform adoption and competitive market growth.
Autonomous Platform Execution & Innovation
- Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle from inception to global scale, delivering features that enable rapid prototyping, simulation testing, experimentation, and self-healing deployment loops for agents.
- Establish robust field-to-product feedback mechanisms, partnering directly with Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) teams and strategic enterprise customers to iterate based on real-world adoption data.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Recruit, inspire, and scale a world-class, diverse, and high-performing global product management organization that top talent fights to join. Nurture a values-defined culture of deep customer obsession, rapid experimentation, and data-driven decision-making, linking individual performance directly to business goals and career growth. Hold a high standard for product experience while driving operational innovation, increasing throughput by eliminating overhead and deep embrace of changes possible through agentic engineering.
Qualifications & Experience
Industry Experience
- 15 to 20 plus years of progressive product management and technical leadership experience within enterprise software, SaaS, or cloud platform ecosystems.
Domain Expertise
- Deep familiarity with traditional ALM/DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines, sandbox management), paired with battle-tested experience building AI-first, LLM, or agentic automation frameworks. Additional experience around self healing/learning/optimization frameworks is a plus.
Scale & Leadership
- Proven track record of leading large organizations (50+ FTEs) in a global, highly matrixed environment with a clear history of mentoring and growing executive-level product talent.
Business Acumen
- Demonstrated commercial aptitude; comfortable navigating sophisticated monetization strategies, complex stakeholder landscapes, and M&A evaluations/integrations.
Communication
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to construct compelling narratives for diverse audiences, from deeply technical engineers to Fortune 500 C-suite executives.
