Description
We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused Data & Systems Program Manager to take ownership of our internal data health, core metrics, and operational infrastructure. In this tactical role within Product Research, you will act as the ultimate steward of the Research Participant Database in terms of data systems, ensuring that our data is clean, our metrics are deeply actionable, and our technical systems seamlessly capture and distribute customer knowledge across the organization.
If you are a critical thinker who thrives on database administration & governance, technical advocacy, and turning messy data into a source of truth, this role is for you.
Core Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Database Administration & Maintenance: Lead proactive database cleaning, de-duplication efforts, fraud flagging, and ongoing data quality maintenance to ensure a pristine data ecosystem.
Metrics & Data Health Reporting: Design, develop, and monitor meaningful engagement metrics. You will move beyond vanity metrics—such as raw database size—to identify and prioritize actionable insights that drive business strategy.
Technical Advocacy: Advocate for the continuous improvement of our technical infrastructure, specifically driving enhancements in user-level telemetry and necessary platform changes.
System Ownership: Own, optimize, and maintain the end-to-end systems that capture, connect, and distribute critical customer knowledge across our teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with data-centric teams, including Data Science, to expand our analytical capabilities and drive cross-functional alignment.
AI Support: Lead initiatives in integrating and leveraging artificial intelligence within our data systems and operational workflows to drive innovation.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Technical program management
Where you’ll shine:
Analytical & Critical Thinking: An innate ability to look at complex datasets, spot anomalies, flag fraudulent behavior, and question the validity of metrics.
Database Expertise: Hands-on experience with database administration, data architecture, governance, and maintaining data hygiene at scale.
Metrics Design: Proven track record of defining KPI frameworks that measure real user engagement rather than superficial growth metrics.
Technical Communication: Strong advocacy skills with the ability to bridge the gap between tactical data needs and engineering platform changes.
AI Literacy: Proficiency in implementing and evaluating AI-driven tools, with an understanding of model capabilities and ethical deployment in operational data systems.
Bonus Qualification: You have direct experience building within Salesforce Sales Cloud.
