Your Impact
As a Backend Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Build new and exciting components/frameworks for distributed filesystems in an ever-growing and evolving market technology to provide scale and efficiency
Develop high-quality, production-ready code used by millions of users of our cloud platform
Build efficient components/algorithms on a microservice multi-tenant SaaS cloud distributed filesystem environment
Code review, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance to the team
Required Skills
4+ years of software development experience
Mastery of programming language(s) and platforms
Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and scripting languages: Java, Python
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL / Trino)
Experience developing SaaS products over public cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Proven experience designing and developing distributed systems at scale
Proficiency in queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, and workload distribution
Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases
Strong grasp of software development best practices with demonstrated leadership skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with Big Data / ML and Amazon S3
Hands-on experience with streaming technologies like Kafka
Experience with Elasticsearch
Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
Experience working in a high-paced, rapidly growing multinational organization
