Description
About the Role
Salesforce is hiring Deployment Strategists — engagement leaders who serve as the operational backbone, program lead, and business strategist for high-stakes customer migrations and platform modernizations. Operating in an AI-native delivery framework, you own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for fast-paced, high-impact engagements (typically 12 weeks or less) that transition enterprise customers to modern platforms like MC Next, Revenue Cloud, Tableau, and Data Cloud.
You're a hybrid of Program Manager, Engagement Lead, and Business Analyst. Rather than managing a schedule from the sidelines, you lead engagement strategy, direct cross-functional delivery pods, run executive governance, and use modern AI tools to accelerate discovery and execution — keeping complex migrations on track and ensuring enterprise customers see value fast.
What You'll Be Doing
Own engagement success end-to-end as the single point of accountability across the full lifecycle: Discovery → Migration Strategy → Execution Oversight → Value Realization & Handoff
Establish engagement governance, track critical-path milestones, manage scope, and proactively resolve delivery risks
Direct the day-to-day rhythm of cross-functional teams, including internal Migration Leads, Professional Services consultants, and SI Partners — keeping them unblocked and aligned on scope and delivery dates
Serve as the primary trusted contact for VP- and C-suite customer stakeholders, translating complex migration workstreams into clear business outcomes
Lead steering committee reviews and help customers navigate organizational change
Personally lead discovery workshops and "Jobs-to-be-Done" reviews, auditing legacy business processes and mapping requirements to standardized target platform patterns
Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and automation agents) to synthesize legacy documentation, extract business logic, auto-generate project assets, and accelerate delivery workflows
Assess customer organizational readiness, define change enablement paths, and lead operational handoffs post-migration to support lasting adoption
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
8+ years leading enterprise customer delivery, technical program management (TPM), engagement management, or management consulting for enterprise SaaS transitions
Proven track record owning enterprise engagement scopes, managing cross-functional delivery teams, and running tight, time-bound client engagements with strict milestone discipline
Strong background in program governance, scope management, business process analysis, and executive stakeholder management
Experience orchestrating delivery alongside Professional Services teams, System Integrators (SIs), and external customer teams
Broad working understanding of enterprise cloud platforms across Marketing, Revenue/CPQ, Analytics, or Data Cloud ecosystems (MC Next, Revenue Cloud, Tableau, or Data Cloud)
Practical experience using AI productivity tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate program analysis, documentation, and operational efficiency
Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer sites as needed
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a Success Architect, Solution Architect, or similar customer-facing delivery role at an enterprise software company
Familiarity with Salesforce's platform ecosystem and migration methodologies
Experience building or refining AI-accelerated delivery playbooks
What's in It for You
You'll operate at the center of Salesforce's highest-stakes customer migrations, with direct influence on how enterprises modernize their platforms. You'll work alongside Professional Services, SI partners, and product teams while pushing the boundaries of AI-native delivery.
