We are looking for a sales and business development leader that will help scale our business in Oceania.

Role Definition:

  • The primary focus of this Senior Director, Sales and Business Development role will be to increase sales of Amagi’s TV-media focused technology and managed services in the Oceania region covering Australia, New Zealand, and other Pacific Islands.
  • As the sales leader for the region, you will be the primary business owner for customers as well as prospects in your assigned region. Customers shall include traditional broadcasters, streaming TV focused content owners, sporting rights owners, streaming platforms as well as advertising partners.
  • This is a hands-on sales role. The role will require you to actively work with individual customers to understand customer business objectives, customer requirements, pain point and orchestrating value that Amagi can bring for the customer.
  • This roles requires entrepreneurial mindset including building a business plan for the region, developing relationships with strategic partners including OTT/Cable platforms, Ad Networks/SSPs/DSPs/Agencies, SIs and other key ecosystem partners as well as building both CXO level and operational level relationships with customers across the region.
  • Working closely with our BDRs, Lead generation, Marketing; Inside sales team, you will build Amagi’s brand in the region, identify target customers, and build a strong sales pipeline for the region.
  • This role will also require expanding existing customers in the region, helping them grow their business and identifying potential new opportunities for Amagi with these customers.
  • As the business expands, this role would also require building and nurturing high-performing sales, system engineering and customer success teams in-region

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, own and execute sales plan for the region
  • Manage sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Account management for existing clients
  • Market and business development including technology and business alignment with advertisers/ad networks, cloud providers, system integrators and other technology partners.
  • Be the face of Amagi in the Oceania region
  • Evangelize Amagi at conferences, panel discussions and summits in the region
  • As the regional business expands, build a sales & support team in ANZ
