Job Summary:

The Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a variety of learning programs across the organization. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization and within the people team to ensure effective execution of learning initiatives. The L&D Specialist will handle needs analysis, program design, evaluation, and deployment of training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Design and Deployment:

  • Design and implement learning interventions(eg workshops, training programsetc)for the organization, including manager workshops, communication workshops, career development programs, and organizational values workshops.
  • Conduct needs analysis through different methods to identify learning requirements and develop relevant training content.
  • Evaluate and finalize external learning partners for program delivery as needed.
  • Deploy and facilitate training programs, ensuring effective delivery and participant engagement.
  • Conduct assessments to measure program effectiveness

2. New Joiner and Top Talent Development:

  • Develop innovative and creative programs and execute programs to ensure new joiner and top talent development, including career catalyst programs for fresher engineers and top talent journey initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops to help new joiners understand and embody organizational values.
  • Ensure a high participation rate in development programs and monitor progress through audits and assessments.

3. Functional and Compliance Training:

  • Identify and address functional learning needs across different teams through tailored training programs.
  • Develop and deploy compliance training modules, including POSH training and DEI training for international employees.
  • Create and implement communication and launch plans for compliance training platforms and modules.

4. Learning Calendar and Reporting:

  • Design and maintain a quarterly learning calendar to keep stakeholders informed of upcoming training opportunities.
  • Prepare and publish biannual learning reports to track the progress and impact of training programs.
  • Analyze data from the reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement necessary changes based on report findings, ensuring continuous enhancement of learning initiatives.

5. SaaS-Specific Training:

  • Develop product training sessions for new hires and existing employees to ensure deep understanding of the companys SaaS products with the help of SMEs.
  • Create and maintain training documentation and resources, such as user guides, FAQs, and video tutorials.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in SaaS/media tech and incorporate relevant knowledge into training programs.
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand new features and updates, and ensure training materials are current.

6. Performance Support and Continuous Learning:

  • Provide ongoing support and resources to employees to enhance performance and facilitate continuous learning.
  • Implement and manage learning paths for different roles within the organization to ensure structured development.
  • Utilize modern learning technologies, including e-learning platforms, webinars, and mobile learning solutions to deliver training.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in learning and development or a similar role, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven organization.
  • Strong skills in program design, facilitation, and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Learning and Development.
  • Experience in instructional design and content development.
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and multimedia production.
  • Knowledge of SaaS industry trends and best practices.
