Platform team at Amagi runs several broadcast related software services on Kubernetes (non Kubernetes as well) over all public clouds like AWS, GCP and Azure. Platform team owns the code to provision various cloud services, the deployment framework and also the observability aspects of these services. These deployments can run on Amagis cloud or also on customers cloud account

What can you expect from the role:

1. You will be working on building, scaling cloud native infrastructure for broadcast and FAST (Free Ad Supported TV) channels on Kubernetes stack
2. You will be working on scaling cloud native observability stack, and will have a chance to get it used by most critical TV channels of the world.
3. You will be working with multiple industry mentors, who come from companies like Qubole, Zeta, Sysdig etc, to define a world class platform engineering team.
4. Have a chance to drive projects with principles of complete ownership, bias to action and show your work.

Your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Design, Delivery and Operationalization of core platform components like Infrastructure as Code(IaaC), CI/CD on multi cloud, log / metrics aggregation and zero downtime upgrades in customer cloud accounts.
• Working with Partner Teams across the organisation in the development, operationalization of common services as platform (PaaS) e.g authentication backend, data ingestion service etc
• Collaborating with the Development Team for product operationalization by simplifying deployment and management of such products/services across multiple clouds.
• Build and manage a zero-touch set of environments for automated development, integration, QA, staging, and non-functional testing, as required.
• Delivery with Agile processes, maintaining a Product Backlog, Scoping of stories in Backlog, Sprint Planning and execution.
