Job Profile:
As an Implementation Engineer at Amagi, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and implementation of our cloud-based solutions for clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success, to understand client requirements, configure and test software, and provide ongoing support throughout the implementation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up Amagi Cloud Infrastructure for new channels on AWS, GCP, or physical hardware.
- Install and configure Amagi products according to project requirements.
- Work closely with Onboarding project managers and external stakeholders (e.g., Development/Testing teams) to deploy solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues and proactively find solutions in coordination with Tech Leads, Customer Teams, and internal DevOps or Engineering teams.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Amagi products.
- Participate in customer calls alongside the Project Manager to understand specific requirements.
- Automate regular tasks and write one-time use scripts to replace manual processes.
- Test thoroughly before marking any task as complete, ensuring no defects.
- Participate in daily standups and provide routine progress reports on project status and issues to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering systems that meet agreed specifications.
Skills and Expertise Required:
- Basic knowledge of OTT (HLS, MPEG-DASH, CDN) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and commands.
- Familiarity with Audio/Video and Cloud technologies is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of AWS media components (e.g., MediaLive, MediaConnect) is beneficial.
- Experience with Linux, Shell Scripting, Python, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- AWS and/or GCP knowledge preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
- Beginner or Advanced AWS or GCP certification (preferred).
Work Experience:
- 1 to 3 years.
Education/Qualifications:
- B.Tech or MCA in Computer Science, IT, ECE, or EEE.
