About the Role

This role will serve as the senior-most leader for the site and will play a critical role in shaping the centre into a high-impact retail enterprise capability hub spanning technology, data, analytics, AI, and broader business functions over time.

This is a transformational leadership opportunity for a seasoned executive who brings deep experience building and leading large-scale global capability centers, preferably within retail or closely aligned consumer-facing industries. The role requires a leader who can combine strategic vision, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder influence to build an “AI-first” organization and establish the Bangalore centre as a key driver of enterprise innovation and growth.

The successful candidate will bring the credibility, leadership presence, and organizational influence required to attract world-class talent, shape future operating models, and foster a “one company, two sites” culture across global teams.

  • Champion an AI-first mindset and identify opportunities to drive enterprise transformation through data and emerging technologies
  • Partner with global business and technology leaders to shape innovation priorities and future-state capabilities
  • Provide strategic oversight across technology and digital initiatives without needing to be deeply hands-on technically

GCC / Capability Centre Development

  • Scale the capability centre from an initial footprint of approximately 300–400 employees into a broader multi-functional enterprise hub over time
  • Build high-performing leadership teams and create a strong succession pipeline across functions
  • Shape organizational design, governance structures, and talent strategies aligned to long-term business goals
  • Support expansion into broader enterprise and GBS/non-technology capabilities as the site evolves

Stakeholder & Talent Leadership

  • Build strong credibility with senior global stakeholders across business and technology functions
  • Act as a visible and influential leader within the Bangalore market and broader GCC ecosystem
  • Establish a compelling employer brand that attracts top-tier leadership and specialist talent
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and operational excellence

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 18+ years of experience with significant leadership exposure across global organizations
  • Proven experience leading a GCC, capability centre, shared services organization, or large-scale enterprise site
  • Strong retail industry experience preferred; adjacent sectors such as FMCG, consumer, or retail consulting may also be considered
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives across technology, data, analytics, and AI
  • Experience operating across multiple geographies and managing complex global stakeholder environments
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership teams and boards
